Yes. He should play at the Olympics as well.

Big break for RSL: Christian Gomez gets a red card on the sideline.

EDIT: no, McManus got it - not as big a deal for RSL with the Thursday match this week.

Good God, four minutes of stoppage time in Houston.

Beckerman with the Vulcan pinch or something there on Rocha - by the way, we've got equal opportunity thuggery in SLC now.

Someone's going to get sent off before this game is over.

What is with Corey Ashe and always just booting the ball forward to no one in particular?

These are the two strangest teams to watch in MLS this season: beautiful, free flowing and attacking soccer one game, cringe-inducing "sucker" the next. Who knows what Thursday will bring?

Terrible defense by RSL on that last FCD attack - only matched by the ineptitude in not getting off a shot.

DeRo has a weird accent. I know he's Canadian, but still.

Just as long as its better than last year's ESPN Rocky Mountain Cup game. The only 1-1, 2 own goal game in league history...

Field looks in decent shape at L.A. after boxing last week.

Come on now, I had blocked that one from my memory until now!

What happened to Miglioranzi - torn muscle or something?

Sweet pass from Andy Williams to Beckerman on that second RSL goal.

And it's 2-1 RSL. Can't say they don't deserve it, our defending has been woeful the last 15 minutes.

San Jose and Houston are a combined 2-5-5 with 9 goals scored. Both wins and 4 of the 9 goals came against the Rapids.

Headed goal from Alan Gordon waved off for offside - nice cross in from Klein negated.

Call was spot on. MLS refs get one right for a change. And not in favor of LA, no less.

Honestly, I think the assistant referees get it right on offside decisions an overwhelmingly high percentage fo the time.
