Next-to-last session before Catania game. Ranieri press conference Saturday
No time for holidays yet. The team are still busy training for the first of the two final official engagements of the season: the game against Catania at the Olimpico. Not an easy game at all, this one, as the Bianconeri will have to face opponents who are still desperately fighting to avoid relegation. Zenga's team lost at home to Reggina in the last round and last night their dreams of Italian Cup glory were shattered too, as they drew 1-1 in the semi-final with Roma and were knocked out of the competition.

The Sicilians will therefore gamble everything they have in Turin. But Juve will want to play a good game too, to bid farewell to their fans and end on a high note. Today the team trained once again in the morning, preparing Sunday's game.

There'll only be one more training session before the match against Catania: on Saturday morning, starting at 11 am. Afterwards, Claudio Ranieri will hold a press conference (at 1 pm), during which he will divulge the squad list for the game.

My guess is that Reazzurro90 is going for Catania here.

Juve has third place in the bag. There isn't a lot of meaning in this game for Juve to play at full strength.

I hope Trez and Del Piero score and are joint top scorers!

A little worry is that they are both one yellow away from suspension which means either could miss the last match of the season..... let's hope they seal it tomorrow :D

Report has Zanetti and Molinaro out. So I wouldn't mind seeing this.

    Buffon

    Birindelli Legro Chiellini Grygera

    Cammoranesi Sissoko Tiago/Marchionni Nedved

    Trez Alex

I had to throw Birinelli in the lineup, 11 years of service, 195 Matches/2 goals and it will be his final match in Turin. Hope he bags one. Remember this?

Halftime, 0-0. Palladino starting for Nedved and has been atrocious. Team not playing well but not horrible. Look like the season has already ended. Hopefully Tre or Alex can bag one for shits and giggles.

I wonder what Parma is going to gift Alex if they keep the league with a win over Inter...;)

Alessandro Del Piero just was buzzing all game, he really wants that Capocanniere crown and who'd bet against him?

Considering that 3rd place is locked up, it's really been a case of just seeing the season out last couple weeks, with little to play for but pride and positions within the squad next season, we've already got next season on our minds (in some cases Euro 2008!)
