Hello, so what do you guys think? Franklin, McDonald, and maybe even Allen seem to have taken the role of Ruud's kids, sort of speak. I think these guys are on the fast track to Europe and the Nats because of Gullit's influence. He has so many connections I'm sure and he keeps singing their praises game after game. I have never heard of MacDonald or Allen before the pre-season tour and these guys have been absolute revelations. I think its because they're learning from the best right at the start of their careers.
I think it is a little early to start claim they can make the jump so soon. To be honest I think the one player who seems to have benefited from getting a taste of Europe in the form of Ruud and David is Landon. I think these guys are telling him what how he needs to make the jump if he ever decides to do it. He has now shown that sorrounded with quality talent he can be lethal, and I don't think it has gone unnoticed across the pond.
