Listening to him drives me batshit, too, but Bruce Arena speaks with a very thick Long Island accent, which is distinctly different from a Jersey accent. Probably doesn't sound that different to folks who haven't spent much time in the area, but to us it's like the difference between a Chicago accent and a Buffalo accent.

Duly noted. Long Island must be an awful place.

It could be option C, a bad defense last year induced the poor tendencies as he lost confidence.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is Thomas Rongen wearing a black and red tuxedo?

Hey, I live in LA and have the directkick package and I'm getting the DC game in HD on channel 629. (on directv)

    I'm amazed, and excited.

Huge crowd in D.C. You might spot a few empty seats in the lower section, but there are tons of people in the 400 level. Big mix of Screaming Eagle/Barra Brava noise and kiddie noise. Loud.

  8. Columbus looks much better this week. Looks to be double the size of the previous crowd.

There's a socond very good call by Mr. Linesman today in calling off the DeRo goal for offside (the first being letting the first Guevara goal stand).

So Columbus was after all a massive club... Two channels on Directv are broadcasting the same MLs game involving them? Kudos! :)

Borchers has been very good this year, as borne out by that nice play on the Emilio run into the box. It hasn't been written about, but I assume he wanted to come to Salt Lake to play under RSL assistant Robin Fraser, with whom he played at Colorado. When Borchers snuck into the USNT pool it was while playing with Fraser; not cooincidentally the next young centerback Fraser played with, Chad Marshall, also made it into the USNT pool.

So I just bought MLSLIVE.tv package.....does anyone know how to make the video size any bigger or do they only show the games at this reduced size? (About 1/4 of the screen)

There are buttons to the left under the picture. One for twice regular size, the other for fullscreen. Or click on the picture twice for fullscreen.

I can't understand why Moreno didn't jump up and scream at a prone Ianni after he scored that goal. ;)

Four goals on the season for Alejandro Moreno; how about that?!

RSL fans have been looking forward to seeing Jamilson Olave; kind of dodgy so far. The other big offseason signing, Matias Cordoba, i son the bench for the first time this season so we may see him as well.

Hmmm, don't see any of those buttons and double-clicking the screen is futile. Maybe its cause I'm on a Mac. In any case, thanks for the assistance.

Would Right click Full - Zoom - Screen work on a Mac?

If your arm is up like that when you go to ground in the box, you can't complain overly much about a PK call.
