There seems to be some inconsistencies in there you might want to fix, like have the player in the league they are currently playing in even if they are on loan from a higher division team. For example: Jaime Peters Ipswich Town (on loan to Yeovil Town) Also, have the team a player is playing with first and the team they are on loan from, like this: Asmir Begovic Portsmouth F.C. (on loan to Yeovil Town) but make it like this: Asmir Begovic Yeovil Town (on loan from Portsmouth F.C.) Other then that, good job! Cheers!
I have some updates on this list over at www.canucks-abroad.com I've updated the guys in Belgian's 5th division. Added Ronnie Vass and Joevannie Peart in Hungary plus a load of US (mainly collegiate) players http://canucks-abroad.com/content/players-master-list-canucks-abroad
I'm guessing they weren't good enough for the Belgian 4th Division? In all seriousness, it looks like the club invited a number of Canadian teens or guys in their early 20's. Looks like maybe they're building for the future to promote up the pyramid? If someone like Garret Kusch was capable of becoming a prolific goal scorer in the 3rd Division in Belgium, then i assume a group of even semi-talented youngsters can be moulded (with decent coaching) into a squad that can promote a couple of times over the next few years.
Two of them...Garrity and Ferridge...were U of S Huskies, and a third huskie was offered a deal at the same time and declined. The Coach of the Huskies is apparently a p/t scout for Royal Racing. Drawing a blank on Toale at the moment. Quick check reveals http://www.royalracingfc.com/news.php?n=15
It seems that Josh Wagenaar will be playing for Lyngby in the Danish Superliga for a while. The article is very unclear on how long he will be there and a lot of other stuff, but, to me, it seems like he must have been out of contract since he can join them at this point. The link is here (in Danish) http://www.bold.dk/nyt/?vis=82511 A quick translation: Canadian to close the gap after Seidelin The Canadian GK Josh Wagenaar is currently training in Lyngby. According to the team's manager, Kasper Hjulmand, he will close the gap left by injured Thomas Seidelin. Already this winter, when Lyngby's keeper Rune Pedersen was out injured with arthritis in his fingers, the bottom club in the SAS Liga considered taking a closer look at the Canadian U/23 GK Josh Wagenaar. Pedersen made progress, however, and hence, the plans of hiring Wagenaar, who has a past in Dutch ADO den Haag, were put on standby. But when Seidelin injured his shoulder in a match against FC Midtjylland at the end of March, Lyngby has now decided to add the Canadian as a back up for Rune Pedersen. -It's true that we have Josh around at the moment. It is in order to close the gap after Seidelin. We talked about him when Rune had problems, but we assessed that Rune made steady progress and we had Seidelin as a reserve, says Kasper Hjulmand to bold.dk and continues: -When Seidelin then goes down injured with his shoulder, we start looking for someone who can close the gap. And we've managed to get Josh.
FRom what I got from one of the players was that the club wanted to bring in talent and try and sell it up. If it didn't work out they turned them over pretty quickly.
http://canucks-abroad.com/content/tough-week-young-canucks-abroad Bad news for Canucks Abroad this week. Keegan Ayre released by Hibs. Haber, Giezen and Nonni all released by Groningen. I have a story and some quotes from Ayre and Nonni on their next moves in the above link.
Ouch! Talk about a spring cleaning by Groningen...good luck to the boys. I'll make the new list shortly...
Looks like Chris Williams, former Montreal, Toronto Lynx and SK Kladon, (Czech Reb.) is joining the Charleston Battery. I dont have an link, but he was on the roster in a special section in the local paper with head shots and brief bios of the players as well as on the game day roster in the match program on Saturday night against Seattle. Finally, I personally asked Assitant Coach Mark Watson who confirmed he is with the team. I expect an offical announcement from the Front Office soon. Also Jack Stewart (also being tracked as a Yank abroad) is now playing in Norway. Mikey
Jack Stewart is Canadian? I thought he was a yank. I'll start adding Moss to my updates on Voyageurs.
Gotcha. In Norwegian media they only describe him as American because he's played for the US U18 and U20 national teams. Has he declared which snr. NT he'd play for?
He hasn't really committed to anyone yet. He trained with Canada under Yallop a couple of years ago. We haven't heard anything from him since then.
Josh Wagenaar debuted for Lyngby today with a good 1-1 draw away to AaB. Lyngby is dead last in the league and Wagenaar's contract expires this summer. I doubt they will hold on to him when they're relegated, but a few good matches could help him, I guess.
I've heard Rune is leaving the team, they want a keep Wagenaar as he's certainly cheaper then Rune and good enough for this level. Well, maybe Josh doesn't want a play in the danish first division either.
I haven't heard this rumor, but it may well be true. Rune Pedersen is quite injury prone and with arthritis in his fingers it seems like a permanent problem. Wagenaar would probably be a cheap addition to the team and if he feels that a season as starter on the second level in Denmark can help further his career, I don't see any reason why not. He can then fight with Seidelin for the GK spot, but he needs to be able to win this battle if he wants to fight fight for a spot at the NT in the years to come.

Hi, guys! One very important question. Is Felix Brllant still eligible for Haiti as he never played oficially with Canada? I know he'sonly been called up to canadian camp. Thanks for your reply!
It appears that Felix has never been capped by Canada. He was recently released from his contract by his 2nd Division Norwegian club Sparta Sarpsborg.
