We definitely outplayed NE tonight. The problem again was the passing in the final third and the lack of creativity. I hope Angel is going to get healthy for good already.

How many times did Parkhurst step in front of a CR forward pass this match?

    Six, seven times?

    Offense...thy name is not CR.

Claudio looks pitiful. I pray he is injured. Not to get him hurt, but if he is not injured and this is all he's got we are in big trouble. How did Leitch bypass Magee at midfield. What is up with that? We need a central defender and two mids, one attacking and one guy that can cross the F'n ball. We can't win with a man advantage and a lead really worries me.

What was the attendance tonight? It looked pretty full on the highlights.

i dont understand why osorio didnt sub leitch in the second half, he gives the team absolutely NOTHING going forward. he did well defensively in the first half, but once NE went down to ten he shouldve been gone and echeverry in. this draw was extremely disappointing.

we are a very average team. 2nd rate goalie, no midfield creativity and mediocore defenders. We have 2 stud forwards and thats about it. Going to be a long year unless they bring in some impact players.

Still can't find the attendance figure. Guess I'll just get in in the New York Times in the morning.

That was a very disappointing finish to the game. There is no excuse for not scoring when the other team is down to 10 men. We lost 2 points tonight.

Jozys goal was absolutely incredible though.

It was hard to tell who was worse tonight, Salazar or Reyna.

re : the eight man wall - What would you like to have seen done. Conway cheated on contact and got burned. That's all on him (well, except for the part where Reyna and Salazar were putrid.)

Even though it's been three games, I think we can finally put the Goldthwaite horns to rest and realize he is a pretty useful defender. I have no idea how someone can suck so horrifically one year and be better that much better this year. I can now live with one good imported central defender and Parke and Goldthwaite flanking him and Mendes as first guy off the bench (with Freeman at RB in a 4-4-2.). Our defense isn't that bad. They had one chance all game (thanks Salazar) and scored on it - and that was more Conway's fault.

We go nowhere with Claudio Reyna on the squad. Don't even bother wasting your time.

Leitch is not a Right midfielder.

I thought it was a bad call on the FK, but after looking at the replay I know I was wrong

It was a PUTRID call. Disgusting. Just HOW THE HELL DO WE GET THESE INCOMEPETENT CHUMPS GAME IN AND GAME OUT REFFING MLS GAMES. Really, Salazar was awful all game on a bunch of calls both ways, but his two worst ones were reserved against Metro

Yeah the push on Woly at halfway was just asking for a yellow, although Reyna put some tackles in the first half that could have warented a few problems...Honestly play Sinisa up in the CAM he's got moves he bloody burned them biotches :p

It was your typical mid-April MLS match.....meaning it was ugly with little quality play shown by either team.

The foul call on Cristman appears to be correct when you watch the replay ("Red Bulls in 60" is on MSG now). It appears Cristman's foot is clipped as he begins his windup. When you watch the replay the first time, it appears that he slips and falls on his own. In the second replay from another angle, it seems that there is contact with his foot, throwing his shot off and throwing him off balance. Referee Salazar had the perfect position for the foul call.

Castro is a lowlife just like Guevarra is.

It's only one game, but it's not good when you're up 1-0, playing at home against a team without two key starters, with a one man advantage and don't walk away with 3 points.

Midfield creativity is indeed a major problem. Ubiparipovic is a year away, Reyna is more of an attacking midfielder this year but he's not the answer and the team is missing someone with the speed of Dane Richards. We might see more of Mike Magee in the near future and see what he can add.

just got in from the game and the team signing: it might have been busier than last year, but primarily because jozy was here this year. his line was over an hour long, which i waited in for my kids. i was rewarded with a high five and several signatures. the new guys are exceedingly nice and ready to go. everyone seemed to be in a great mood, especially sinisa, who was singing. my son said that zach thornton could have palmed his whole head, his hands were so big! mike magee apologized for not winning it for us, not doing better. i have to say we have some great fans - almost everyone was very respectful and waited patiently in line and the red bulls staff were very helpful. i am sure this is a logistical nightmare, but i wish they'd do it again toward the end of summer when we have more new players. with our turnover the signatures might not mean that much by then!

Yeah. The revs and red bull are like clone teams. Neither team has any creativity in the midfield. Since Agoos didnt sign an attackimg mid this was to be expected since its the same midfield from last year basically.

just curious as to what the non-tv side of the stadium looked like. I know they were filled up a bit at the crew game. just wondering if the only fans there were the ones shown on tv

Well I can definetly say we got hosed by the ref tonight. Salazar just wanted to give the Revs a solid chance to get their equalizer. Even though Conway did cheat a little, I still blame Leitch for spining around and putting his back towards Larentowicz. Have the balls to stand there and stop that shot, no matter how hard the shot was taken. You make that move it's just enough room for a set piece to score inside the near post.

Other than that, Great goal by Jozy he took that very well. I saw it on SportsCenter. Angel looked good in the 1st half, sad to hear his Hamstring tightened up again. Hopefully he will be o.k. for Sunday Afternoon.

I have to say that the defense looked pretty good tonight and the offensive chances looked good as well. Borman finally calmed down and what a cross to Woly. So sad Wolyniec couldn't finish that chance, but we are seeing what Danleigh Borman can do for this club when he gets his chances at crossing the ball.

When your up a man, got to take advantage. I honestly don't believe Reyna played that poorly tonight. He did set up Josy's goal and the chance in the 24th minute before he scored. The Revs defense found a way to stop him.

But still this club had a chance at three points and with the help of the ref & Leitch they lost two of them.

On a heavier side, how much does Zach Thorton now weigh? This guy is huge. I saw him in warmups as was thinkout about all the Fat Tony comments people have made and nobody mention s this guy weight . This guy looks about 8 months into it. Maybe it is just me but i don';t see how he could perfom at his size right now. Looks like he went to the Eddie Curry Buffet line at the hotel the past month.....

I honestly feel the Bulls are playing better soccer under Osorio than under Il Bruce... They are playing a better ground passing game... Once Dane and Freeman are healthy...we won't be seeing Leitch any more... It isn't that he is a bad player but that doesn't mean he is good one either. Goldy has played great in the 1st two home games... and I think for now the back line of MendesParkeGoldy will be just fine... but we do need another D-mid to pair with Stammy... Sinisa and Leitch are not the answer... Reyna is playing hard and makes some good moves but I still feel as if this league is too fast for him. Alti's goal was awesome... and Woly with a bit more luck would have had two more... We need Angel to be healthy and Borman looks like he is maturing right before our eyes...he had some really nice crosses this week... VDB was pretty invisible and that 8 man wall killed us...I also not sure why Conway didn't organize that wall better... So we are kissing our sisters again...but other than the one gaff the BUlls played good defense.. San Jose is next up... we need 3 points bad against them...

We were not terrible last night. We did not stink-up the Swamp; but we should have won. Terrible finishing, and inconsistent crossing. Officiating was abyssmal. Still, we should have had a second goal.

NE is a team of very large, very fast athletes. We are dwarfed and out-run by them. Last night's display by NE with two stars out and playing one man short, I'm afraid, shows them as a superior squad. I hate them.

Given that, I am glad we got the draw.

I agree (begrudginly) with earlier remarks about Goldie -- he is having a better year than last; however, I wonder if he looks good because the rest of our backline looks so weak? I also agree with earlier remarks about Leitch and wonder why he is getting so many minutes. We really need Richards back, and I hope that he has practiced his crossing during the off-season.

The "Meet The Team" event was great. There were a lot more people this year, and I only got twelve (12) signatures. Last year I got everyone except Reyna.

I think the reason Goldy is playing so well is because he has confidence, and well that helps a player...Remember what Osorio said when he signed..:We have good players, but you need to coach them better and they'll perform.

Was at the meet the team day, and well:

Jeff Parke: Is a guy who I think is the man end of story give him a bloody raise & honestly he'd make a great captain and is very relaxed.
Woly & Sassano: Laid back guys both seemed like guys you want on a team.
Sinisa, Goldy , and Mega: Also seemed to be having some fun, and Mega was singing to the DJ songs :p

ESC'S New Chant: (Mega Fun) sorry for the camera work again I kinda go a bit over, but the camera is might sensitive I tired to well get some crowd pics but it F*CKED UP :(
