so what do u think ? im happy that Juve have sooo many nominees and Nedved deserves both Best Player and Best Midfielder. Best Goalkeeper for me is between Toldo and Buffon. Toldo's heroics against Valencia deserve this honor. Best defender - Nesta. Best forward - Makaay.

How does Pippo not make that list? He was awesome in the CL with 12 goals scored. He wasn't bad either in Serie A with 16 goals. I'm as big a Sheva fan as there is but I have to admit that Pippo deserves to be on that list ahead of Sheva by far. Dida should have been on the list as well.

Here are my picks by the way:
    Goalkeeper: Buffon
Defender: Nesta(tough choice because Maldini was great as well)
    Midfielder: Nedved
    Striker: RVN

I do too, but more than you

    My picks:
Best player: Pavel Nedved (Juve), but I would choose Paolo Maldini, if he were a nominee. Maldini is one of the best defenders ever, he should be recognized by everyone. I hope he wins Golden Ball.

Best goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juve), no doubt about it.

    Best defender: Paolo Maldini (Milan)

Best midfielder: Pavel Nedved (Juve), if he plays the final, Juve wins.

Best forward: Ruud Van Nistelrooy (ManU), he just amazing.
