Anyone have a clip of Ronaldo's dribbling at the end?

    couple things:

+ loved how Rooney grabbed that ball after Ronaldo scored and they rushed everyone back from celebrating. we wanted this win more than Arsenal.

+ Arsenal scoring when they did - so early in the 2nd half - was a good thing if they had to score. it woke us the F up and got on the two subs and we had more than 40 minutes left to play.

Rio was TITANIC!!!today. MOTM. I loved the partnership with Pique. Worked well.

Ronaldo was class to take the penalty kick twice with Twatmen all up in his face, touching the ball and jawing like a cuntonopolis that he is.

The Anderson/Tevez substitution was completely necessary. We raised our game a bit.

What was up with Scholesy and Carrick today? Scholesy is almost excusable, because sometimes it seemed like he was covering for Carrick, but both gave away too many simple balls with a lot of space.

Last time around it was Nani, now it is Ronaldo. For all their bitching and whining about unfair treatment, 'rough' play, and Taylor's tackle on Eduardo being malicious/intentional/etc, it is posts like this that make you not care. As a matter of fact with the sheer hypocrisy shown by some on their forum - while I still feel really bad for Eduardo himself and wish him the best in recovery - I am glad they lost an important player to injury at such a crucial time, and have suffered from it. It is fans like the one posted above that deserve to have their hearts broken in the most merciless way and see kharma come back to bite them in the ass.

Ade's first goal was completely handball.

    Gallas's was more obvious.

A just scoreline resulting. Arsenal's game is complete, they just need to work on the mental aspect of it because they always tend to implode during big matches.

weird seeing Rooney wearing the Cesc's jersey at the end of the match. at least he was wearing it inside out.

After all the happiness I must point out one thing. Rooney still can't finish. :)

it was hard to tell.. i think it was just awkward but came off his head in the end:

nah... Lehman had two good saves on him and two other shots were difficult.

maybe one he should have put away but the boy ran his socks off today as usual.

It was clearly handball for their goal and I don't give any credit to Lehmann for the saves because Rooney hit them straight at him. Nice hattrick Wayne.

Bad finishing or not, he worked his damn socks off for us today, so I can't really fault him. I'm so ********ing looking forward to him going back to support striker next season, I think that will be the season when he rounds the corner and becomes one of the best in the world.

True. He works so hard all match long. Truly amazing to watch him and Hargreaves never stop. Still though it is starting to amaze me that he always seems to hit the keeper square on. :D

You have to learn to ignore the posts, that once again, chastize Rooney for not finishing, and not understanding what he brought to the game in other phases. Surprising coming from Teso..

Did I say he didn't work hard? Of course he did and he created some space. However his passing and finishing where off once again. A hard fought victory cannot hide the fact that our striker seems to freeze in front of the goal.

    Nope.

Remember when Rooney could score... The kid needs to pull his finger out. He should have had an easy hattrick but he bottled it.

There is no excuse for missing those chances and he's been doing it most of the season. Today was three misses too much for me.

I'll take a guess and say you don't much like Lehmann.

Roony actually did well to tip kick it when he got the ball in the first half but credit did go to Lehmann who stretched his left leg in a way that it deflected the ball for a corner. Rooney could have had two goals today but it was more good goalkeeping than poor finishing.

We started off really poorly and allowed Arsenal to create their chances but typical of them and us, it reversed and good that they got the goal first because I felt that it was neccessary to really kickstart our intent to score. From then on, it looked like we were going to get two and should have went for three. Nevertheless, this has to be a massive dissappointment for Wenger and his team and of course every single Arsenal fan. In fact I kind of feel a little sympathy for their fans. They were fooled into thinking this team can go all the way and win all three trophies and look at them now, one win in eight matches - out of contention of all three titles.

Ignore Rooney's poor finishing? hahah. Then people wonder why England will never win anything. He's a great player, but ignoring a blatant weakness isn't going to help him, or the team out.

You can be as snide as you want. Doesn't change what happened, unless of course you want to explain why I am so off.

We'll see what all the nay-sayers have to say when Rooney bags like 30 goals next season. Mark my words.
