I actually think SJ's forwards have been better than their D so far. If they could dominate midfield possession, I think Glinton and Kamara would be scoring.

OMG, I think that Max and Christopher are calling the game from the baseball pressbox, which over a corner of the soccer field.

Doesn't McAfee Coliseum have a football pressbox for the Raiders games?

Sullivan says SJ talking to Antonio Naelson "Zinha" the Brazilian/Mexican playmaker.

What a name-drop by Sullivan there. Zinha now rumored to San Jose.

I agree and I think they need to play more through Graby and Ronny. The long ball is just going to wear out the forwards trying to chase them down.

I was just about to ask what he said. I wasn't really paying attention. Good to know.

I agree with you so far, and that's a problem for SJ. They need the back to be solid because their midfield and forwards aren't gonna score much.

Frankowski put through by Blanco -- neither a shot nor a penalty as he goes down at the top of the box.

    Somebody's carded after the silliness.

    Here's Blanco's "It's too hot" face:

It's also his "Hi, how are you" and his "when's lunch?" face.

It looks like the tarps they use to reduce the baseball capacity are in place, along with none of the extra bleachers they bring in for football...

the listed baseball capacity is 34,000... os thats probably about what the capacity for this game is.

Max imposes some vocal drama on a soft O'brien effort from distance -- no real power.

Holy hell -- Krazy George is still alive.

I remember that guy from when I was a kid. Impressive in it's own demented way.

San Jose has played better. Barrett with the only goal for Chicago off a counter attack.

    It's a thousand degrees.
SJ has dominated, created a few quality chances.
Chicago scored on a counter, totally against the run - Blanco created for Frankowski, rebound put in by Barrett.

Since then it's slowed down due to the heat, but SJ still looks promising.
