There were also a couple little moved he'd shown before that point that didn't come to anything, but helped build the Quake attack. In general, he's looked smart and strong so far.

Dude, where in DC are you? Have you tried Momo's on U St.? They've got direct kick, and so many tvs that I'm sure they'd tune one to the game for you. Give them a call at (202) 667-3222 and ask (they're very friendly). No reason you shouldn't be able to catch at least the entire second half.

Pretty much all SJ -- Blanco's been silent as of yet, got his first touch at minute 11 which was flubbed to a chorus of jeers.

Atmosphere has picked up as San Jose has dominated ball possession the past few minutes.

O'Brien again with a cross -- third or fourth quality service so far, with acres of space. He was also anonymous against LA.

Yeah, I've been there before, there is also Lucky's up in Dupont. For unrelated reasons, I have to be in Chinatown right after the game, so I thought RFD's or Bar Louie would def be showing the game. Sadly, Yanks/Sox, the Nats, the Masters, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs have conspired against me.

Kamara to Glinton at the top of the box -- straight to the keeper, but a very nice move

Props to Stan: Rev. H. Heat rules.

Glinton laces one toward the upper corner -- Great finger tip save.

Really an excellent shot from the opposite corner of the box. Great power.

And who put Glinton in on that position? Kamara! Where has this guy been all the Columbus Crew's life?

    --

And Chicago pulls one on the counter, 1-0 Barrett (off a rebound from a Mapp shot).

    Chicago Goal!

Started by Blanco, great ball on the counter, Frankowski forces a rebound from Cannon, Barret puts in the rebound.

    Totally against the run.

Fado, next door to RFD, shows a lot of soccer - I watch a lot of Euro games there. They might be able to help you out...though you're right, with all those other events going on, you might be SOL...

Max urges me to crack open a window and enjoy the game.

Umm...it's about 40 here in St. Louis. No, thank you.

More positive play from SJ, not a great shot from Glinton, but they are pushing well.

    Kamara and Glinton look active.

This game has some more goals in it.

For a patched up pitch over a baseball diamond, the surface at the Coliseum looks excellent.

And that Best Buy logo on the Fire shirt is weak sauce. (graphically speaking)

Yeah I noticed the weakness of the best buy jersey during the NE game last week. they just slapped teh words on there, it doesnt even approach filling up the white stripe. It not at all visually appealing

25th minute and the match is slowing down a bit after some sustained SJ offense and the Chicago goal on the counter
