Senderos has fatigue from playing like what? 10% of the matches?

We "lost", but no matter what, that was a legendary run by Walcott. No doubt about it.

Its time for Wenger to change his philosophy and spend some money. This experiment has run its course. If we had two players like Torres and Ribery in the squad we would have a much better chance of winning something instead of being also rans.

They could have easily just went with Toure and Gallas in the center and play Eboue and Clichy on the side...

Poor Senderos was fatigued? Aw how sad that he can't perform the duty that he's paid millions for. Every single player was fatigued. When a player is constantly out of position and can't even CLEAR a ball, that's not fatigue, that's lacking skill.

That would be a start. :D

Perhaps having the same official do both legs.

Was Senderos carrying a knock? I don't know, I'm just asking.

And if one of the players called another a f****** moppet I doubt he'd be with the team much longer. Just sayin, we're all on the same side here.

Well done to Arsenal, they pushed us Reds all the way tonight. They started brilliantly and bossed the first 30 minutes in a way not seen at Anfield for years. Hyypia's header changed the game, it brought Liverpool level and knocked back the confidence in the Arsenal passing game. In the end the difference was Babel signing for Liverpool rather than Arsenal. He turned the game with the pen and late breakaway goal.

Hats off to Arsenal. Although you came up short tonight you have a cracking team that will surely only get better next season. Walcott came of age tonight. Good luck for the rest of the season.

3rd 'transitional' season with nothing to show for it in a row

i feel sorry for the people scraping the barrel paying £1000 a year to watch arsenal bottle it yet again and piss it all away, wenger better pull his finger out next season and buy some cover or this pattern will repeat and repeat

If we had some squad depth our first choice players would be better too. I'm a big believer in a deep squad not only for backup but to motivate first choice players. There is literally nothing motivating Eboue to become a better player because he knows Wenger will play him anyway. That goes for more than just Eboue who is our bugabear for obvious reasons. Our idiot defenders have the same issue. All of them.

One myth these games have exposed is that the idea of Kolo Toure as a world class defender is absolutely ********ing fatuous. Senderos gets most of the flack and some of it is deserved but Toure has pulled some moronic shit this year and I'm a little sick of it.

A lot of people are taking shots at Senderos. I'm looking at Toure. Torres got some space from Senderos, but Toure didn't close him out and got caught in no-man's land.

Toure also got caught in a tussle with Babel leading to the penalty. Whether you agree with the call or not, Toure should never have been in that position to begin with.

Senderos is not entirely without fault. Hyypia lost him on the cross, but I don't think he should take the brunt of the venom.

If he deserved it then he should stay at the team. Im sorry but i felt the post was complete crap. It had some merit regarding our form in the league which was been piss poor but in this one off tie the consistency of officiating was f*cking third grade at best. Our boys gave a solid account of themselves over the two legs and then got stabbed in the back by the officials. Im sorry but maybe a baseball bat upside the head would help joggle some things around for these officials.

Toure was tired IMO, a lot of the team looked fatigued, it really showed when Walcott came on with his pace.

The irony that Arsenal end up going out to the CL from a player (Babel) who Wenger had the chance to sign in the summer and didn't do so is not lost on me either.

    the loss was Arsene's fault

not trusting Theo with a start... not buying more players for a bigger squad (Babel!!!!!)...

and van Persie was a ghost out there... not wenger's fault... but a complete nonfactor

and I defended Senderos so much, but I cant there... not today... that whole defense was atrocious tho...

this season has gone off the rails since dudu and rosicky went out

rosicky needs replacing fo sho, as well as adequate cover on the flanks

when u rely on eboue and diaby out wide, u aint gonna win shit

this season falling apart rests soley on arsene wengers shoulders
