Arena is okay - good enough analysis but each point is made on a five minute rotational basis. I think he does better with a foil like Wynalda in the booth to play off of (I usually vastly prefer a two man booth, except with those two). Ah, corner kick to KC - hat trick Jimmy?
So do the empty seats behind Bouna's goal mean a far less than capacity crowd, or is everyone just hanging out elsewhere in the stadium?
That was a fair challenge on Hartman. At least it didn't matter in the end, and he didn't get a card.
This game hasn't exactly been an exhibition of the kind of "high quality" goals that people love to tout to show how MLS continues to improve...but it has been exciting.
I'll take another stinker of a first half in all three remaining games tonight if we get second halfs this good as well! Terrific stuff. Did the referee not hand out a bunch of yellow cards for going into the stands after that goal? I thought that was an automatic yellow but haven't seen anything to that effect.
