    I agree!! Amazing! the little scarf on the pumpkin-away looks a little gay, but otherwise, it's flawless. Close Thread! Done!

    It actually looks pretty good. If you put it with a pair of white shorts, it would actually make a pretty kick-ass home jersey.

    If you reversed to colors on the shorts, this one would work for the road jersey.

    All in all, the jersey designs and the logo have a respectable look to them, which would definitely be a plus for a prospective team.

    Just out of curiousity, I wonder what the Borough Boys logo would look like with these colors. Green on the bridge and a gold band in the background wouldn't look bad.

    Sorry 'bout the name error, Ultravolta. But now we have a problem.... do we get sponsored by General Mills and have Count Chocula on the front, or Kellogg's and get Frosted Flakes? Nostalgia wants me to have Count Chocula, but Tony the Tiger might make more sense.

    Hey! How about pink? We do have a lot of metrosexuals... and only real men wear pink.... It worked at Everton!

    Maybe with the color scheme we had for New York City Soccer Club

    ..or am I just getting in the mood for Easter...

    maybe Ultravolta can mock up an Easter Bunny inspired kit.

    But seriously,

    ..
    .

    I've been thinking for a while now, how cool it would be to have black and white for the 1st kit and have a different colored 2nd jersey every other year. For example 2011: gold - 2012: pink - 2013: orange - 2014: green - 2015: brown - 2016: blue - 2017: yellow [etc...]

    The colors of the 2nd kit could be the socalled "fashion colors" projected for the following season and I think it would be a nice statement of NYC being the city that sets trends, as well as the city of numerous colors and origins. The timeless black and white at home would never change though and so it would never clash with the away kits' colors as black/white goes with everything.

    Of course it also makes economical sense when the team can readapt their look every season to their customers' tastes, but fans wouldn't "have to" buy their teams kits every season any more or less as if the away colors would always be of the same color IMHO, as the predominent 1st kit would never change appart from template used. At home or away, the crowd would look solid black and white, as the 2nd jerseys would not stick out more than if the people would wear any other kind of clothes.

    What do you guys think? Would this be a nice procedure or do you think it would be a ripping off the fans in terms of merchandize sales?

    That's what most of the big clubs around the world do already. Barca used to have an orange alternate now they have blue, Chelseas has a neon green, Man U now has a black alternate, Arsenal used to have yellow, Liverpool also used to have yellow. Well, you get the picture.

    I know, I know... Some clubs change their 2nd jerseys a lot in Europe, but that's not my point. They always go with colors that slot into their overall color schemes. If you have black & white for your primary colors, and an adaptable crest, you can go with a completely different 2nd EVERYTIME you change your seconds!! Look at the New Era hats' special editions for the Yankees - That's what I'm talking about!

    My first attempts at making a logo and jersey. I know the logo is awful, but hey I've never made one before.
    About the logo: the five points of the star are supposed to represent the five boroughs.
    btw, I forgot to color in some parts of the jersey. oops

    We get this same bullshit regarding "Louis IX".

    People have complained because his sceptre is topped with a cross.
    Additionally, he was in a crusade - sure, it was 800 freaking years ago, but nonetheless, some have complained about it. :confused:

    == Sarcasm Starting ==

    Where does it end - Celtic - I'm sorry, no shamrock please, St. Patrick used that to explain the Trinity.

    New Orleans Saints - the fleur de lis also used for the Trinity. Oh and "Saints??" how dare you - rename yourself now.
    :mad:

    As a rural Southerner, I find both the Mets and Yankees offensive - will you guys please rename.

    Revolution, Patriots, Blue Jackets = disrespectfull to the English
    Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Avalanche = people have died in these things, how dare you.
    Angels Devils = don't get me started
    Brewers = drinking is a sin
    Pirates, Raiders, Chiefs, Indians, Redskins, Blackhawks, etc = how do people watch sports.

    Has anyone asked the Cardinals, Rams, Bears, Tigers, Dolphins, Penguins and the like if they are comfortable with teams using their name and likeness?

    == Sarcasm Ending ==

    Can you believe PETA actually asked the Packers to change their name to "Pickers"
    http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/2000/0626/605330.html

    I just love that the Turks complained. Apparently, a cross is a no-no, but piss bags, batteries, and knives are perfectly acceptable. :confused:
