I'll be there. I'm also bringing 5 friends. Two newcomers, One one-game vet, and two two-game vets :). actually this is only my third game too. my tickets are upstairs in safe keeping, too lazy to find them and post my section, but I believe i'm sitting somewhat close to RBN.

I am gonna be there. This will be my first Red Bulls official game at Giants stadium. Been following the team for a few years but haven't made a trip down. Yes Yes Yes. . .

Not sure where I am sitting though. It was my wife's idea as a surprise, she bought the 4 tkt pack. .

    Will see you guys there.

(Are we allowed to walk over to where others are sitting if no one is near us, like could we walk over to 101?

I'll be there. But I need a ride!

Anybody driving from Brooklyn or Manhattan who has room for two passengers?

I've walked over to 101 a few times but that usually in mid season when the stadium is half empty. Opening day may be a little different since it SHOULD be more crowded but im sure itll still be possible. Just go in early.

Nah I don't think he'll have any problem at all walking over to 101. There are a bunch of people who have tickets in other sections that just walk into 101 as soon as the game is about to start.

Yes, I've seen the results of the free dental in the UK. You get what you pay for, for sure. :p

ok this is probably a REALLY stupid question but i'm new here and it wouldn't let me post a new topic to ask my question!

my friend will be singing the national anthem on saturday, and i was wondering what sections the people who sing the National Anthem face so i can try and get tickets in a section she will be facing.

again, i know this is probably the dumbest question ever but i've never gone to a game and really want to go and support my friend and be able to see her!

thank you to ANYONE who can help me!

They aren't selling tickets to the sections that she will be facing. Look for Jets or Giants tickets and you will see section 131. That is midfield and will be right in front of her.

Right now it is only for season ticketholders. Walk over and find a seat.

yikes, man . . i hope she can sing . . like not "best singer in my high school", or "best in my church choir" or "best in my community play" sing, like can actually sing.

my biggest pet peeve at red bull games is the national anthem. i wish they could just pay a little money to get the caliber singers you find at Devils games, at the very least.

i think every game but one last year (the army chick, anyone remember? she tore the roof off, and there isn't even a roof!) had me cringing at all the poor intonation, cliche phrasing, and overall crap performance.

okay, got that out. i feel better.

p.s. they usually face the side of the stadium that they now aren't apparently selling tickets for anymore. so, it could be different for this game. best thing to do is call up red bull, buy over the phone, and ask them.

I agree. I know we don't have an easy national anthem, but at least find someone who can keep the right key.

My biggest problem is the A-holes who don't take their hats off during the anthem. That annoys the hell out of me...

On another note, not only am i going to opening day Saturday.... I'm going to opening day today... :)

If you can't get seats in 131, don't panic too much. You'll be able to see your friend on the big screen.

Ps. anyone that can sing the national anthem is cool with me. It doesn't take a good voice to be a patriot. ;)

Any word on how many tickets have been sold already? Are they opening both sides of the stadium for this game?

Agreed. Other stadiums remind you to take your hat off.

If this side fills up then the other side will be open. It's not like they have it tarped off or anything like in NE, since STH's will already be there.
