The Season starts tomorrow and we still have room for teams in the Cascadia Division. I opened up the division so you shouldn't need a password but if you do pm me. It's free and a good way to start thinkin MLS. Player transfers are free until tomorrow and then you get 35 for the season. Come on GS, Keith etc..... www.mfls.com
I've played this game before, and I am signed up for this season. It's a fun way to get acquainted with the players in the league. I see WestSeattle has a team in there, too. Gotta sign up, soon, though, so that you can build your initial roster freely without using up your transfers. - Paul
Are you guys running a Cup too? It takes a dedicated person to run it. Last year, the Jolly Franklin Cup attracted 18 teams. This year we have 96 teams The cup season can run until the 17th week traditionally then your champion goes to the Cup Winner's Cup against players from around the league.
damn yahoo account never got that email either!! watch out for the Nickerston St Saloon Football Club
used to live right down the street - took me two minutes to walk there. just moved this week though i'll probably still hang there now & then when i can
Yahoo response seems to be slow. I just got my vote link @ my yahoo account, 24 hours after I requested it...
I'm in...I think you'll like my team name SounderMan I tried to buy local where I could, then USL alums when I ran out of ex-Sounders and UW alums.
The top half of the table has tightened up. West Seattle Rangers still in the lead. http://mfls.com/index.php?Page=division&Did=28&Tid=1090&TimeStamp1=2008-05-28 03:28:31 - Paul
I need to tweak my roster, as I have a few clunkers here and there. Also if you play the prediction game, it is really, really hard this season.
Especially when you forget that there are Wednesday games sometimes and do not get your predicitions in on time. My fantasy team has been plagued by injuries. Galindo and Ralston being injured have hurt...... so has Altidores liimited play so far. Still plenty of season left to make a move.
Not only is there no shame in being poor at fantasy, I'd wear it as a badge of honor. Fantasy sports is actually terribly weak. I had actually dumped out of the two NFL leagues I was in a year or so ago, when I realized, I was starting to pay more attention to how many yards Larry Johnson got, more than the actual sport in question. I just joined this MLS one, as a sign of camraderie to the board. I love the fact many of you showed loyalty to teams and leagues more than trying to sculpt a winning team. Kudos to those that did that. In truth, fantasy sports is a terrible vice, I can think of plenty more that are far more interesting.
Guinness, my friend. Speaking of which, the Irish Stout at Elysian Fields is absolutely spectacular. Great, great stuff.
