eddie blows it...again. Come on EJ. Annoucer said: "he had a red carpet all the way to the goal", yet somehow he found a way to mess it up.

USA USA USA USA...good win. Solid D, great set pieces, but we still have to work on our finishing. Could have been 5-0, easy.

Dude, they showed you and your friends about 10 times just in the first half. Way to represent the Dynamo! :D

Yeah! I got Chingy's jersey following the game! Needless to say, I was pumped.

Also, got photos with Rico (and others) at the team hotel after the match. Told him thanks for kicking Ruiz in the face! :p

The match was really great, and the boys played well.

Good to see a good result!

    Cheers,

I just heard from my friend's parents... you can see him during the game after the goals, he's wearing a Dynamo beanie. He said after the game he pointed at his beanie for Ching, who waved to him, then a couple of minutes later the equipment guy called him down and told him that Ching wanted him to have his jersey. How cool is that?? Then he told him they were staying at the Sheraton, so they all went over there to look for the players. Ching never came down, he wanted his signature, but he got lots of pictures with a bunch of the other players. I'm so jealous.

It's actually really terrible. Sang/chanted my lungs out...I've got nothing left. In fact, I'm off to bed!

    Glad you enjoyed the match!

You know, watching that game made me think, it would sort of be nice just for once to get to play in a stadium in your own country where everybody was singing and chanting and supporting your team. Just once.

Oh, yes, the smell of defeat hangs in the Wisla air still, and it reminds faintly of a burnt kielbasa.

I didn't get to watch the game. Will they rebroadcast it at some time?

How did Rico and Chingoalazo play?

Are we that good or is Poland that bad?

How cool is that?...Really!....you have to clarify how cool is that????

Probably along the lines of "why keep on livin'?" cuz now you can die a happy man who has lived a full life.

    No shit!

I was going to say something snarky like, "Will FSC rebroadcast a game sometime? Hehehe, that's worth a chuckle," but in this particular case you may be out of luck. FSC has a printable TV schedule for the next two weeks on its site and I don't see a replay scheduled.

Clark played 90 and was steady. Ching played less than 90, was subbed out for Wolff, and was better than Johnson but not an overwhelming force. Both looked like they belonged but neither played themselves onto or off of the core for qualifying.

I gather from the FSC talking heads that Poland was missing players to injury and did not put its better players in until the second half. That being said, we had a good, young team out there that held its own. Everyone save EJ and Feilhaber did themselves justice. I wish we'd had this 11/18 in Reliant a month or so back.

I thought both Ching and Rico played quite well. One thing can be said; those polish defenders were big, strong, and fast. Some have suggested that Freddie should have been called in. He would have wilted with one forearm shot. Ching got hit pretty good, but he gave back just as well. He created space and showed game awareness. I liked his effort and effectiveness at the tactical level. Rico played tough as well and was effective on both offense and defense. I hope he winds up and shoots from distance soon because he will keep them loose if he does so. All in all, I'm afraid we will be missing both of them this summer and fall.
