So the tickets to the game are all sold out? That puts a big damper on my plans. Do you think that only the presale were sold out or do you think that the entire stadium is full and I'd only be able to get tickets through scalpers.
So, I am under the impression that there was an internet presale with only x amount of tickets available, the rest being sold at the stadium. This would put a big damper on things especially since I don't have my ticket yet, and I am sure most of the rest on this forum don't have one either. I really don't think it will be sold out, and I am sure we can get tickets at the gate. I have talked to a few people about this and they were in agreement with me that it wouldn't be sold out. But crazy things do happen... However it isn't possible to buy tickets through that website anymore as you figured out. It seems like the only way is to get tickets at the gate. Hope to see you there still. I know I will be there. If anyone is going to be at this game and has no tickets yet, we will be meeting in the main square at the Mickiewicz statue (big statue, you can't miss it, look for me wearing red white and blue) at 5:00pm. The game starts at 8:30 so we will probably walk over to get our tickets before then. See you there.
I'll try and find out about buying tickets at the gate for sure. I would like to buy a couple extra tickets, too so hopefully we can figure it out! I know you can also buy tickets on alegro.pl (the Polsih ebay), but I'm not so sure I'd trust it. I'll ask a Polish friend about it. I'll keep you updated and hope everyone can find tickets!
I'm trying to get a hold of the Polish FA again to ask. I get through, then they connect me and it just keeps ringing. I've been trying every half hour or so. I'll let you all know when I get through. What I understood the last time was that they released tickets to be purchased online, and were going to release more the next week, but there would also be tickets available at the gate. I'm hoping to clarify this and make sure that if we show up at 5pm the day of the game, there will be tickets for us. Thanks, Kanuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu for helping us out, too

By sold out, do you mean the entire stadium, or just the online tickets? I keep trying the FA, and the guy got so annoyed that I kept calling back (hey, you can't get through you try back later, right?) that he gave me the number to the ticket department +48225512290 (the main number is +48225512300), but it still just keeps ringing. If someone else has Skype (or another means to call Poland for cheap), would you be winning to try, too?
Entire stadium. You cannot just buy the ticket anymore. Obviously Polish FA should still have some tickets not intended for public sale and I am sure you can get some of them.
I have a ticket rep from US Soccer calling them to ask if we can get a few tickets. I told her we have about 6 people who have already made plans, bought plane tickets, and are scattered everywhere. I should be getting a call back this afternoon.
No sooner did I say that then I got a call. She's going to try to find an individual person for me to communicate with, and to see if it's possible for them to set aside a little block of tickets for us. More development hopefully to come soon.......
Sorry guys, but it's definitely sold out (as you know). I hope you can successfully procure tickets with the help of the federation, otherwise scalping seems to be the last option (which could be difficult and expensive - especially for Americans). Sorry I couldn't be any help with the tickets, but let me know if you have any questions about Krakow - where to go, stay, eat, and all that good stuff!
You all owe me big time Grace, the ticket rep from USSF that I was in contact with, was able to get the Polish FA to set aside 6 tickets for us. We have to meet a rep from the FA at the team hotel by 4pm on match day to pay for them. I'm going to send PMs to the following people, which is the list of people that I have who are going: redhead13 Count (+1) 4-4-2 (haven't heard from him in a while, don't know if he still needs a ticket) Me Kanuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, if anyone backs out, I'm willing to let you buy the extras if you still want more. Anyway, I guess we're going to need to push our meeting time up. I'm thinking 3:00 would be best, that way we can find the Sheraton Hotel (any of our Polish friends on here able to point us in the right direction?), get the tickets, and grab some grub.
The Sheraton Hotel is very easy to find... all you have to do is find the castle and walk along the river to the west and you'll see a large, modern hotel - you can't miss it. I would recommend buying an "In Your Pocket" magazine when you get here, available at lots of local shops (Empik in the square next to the statue you plan on meeting at definitely has it), because the map alone is worth it. Going out at night? I say skip the Old Town and head down to Kazimierz for some much more laid-back bars. So that's where the team will be staying? Maybe I'll have to be a stalker!

I know that this is probably not going to be answered, yet i will ask anyway. Are there any pubs in The Madrid/Toledo area of Spain that you would think would be airing this game. I will be in Spain on vacation but i would love to watch this game if at all possible. Any one know of anything going on?

I'm a yank studying in Krakow. I did all I could to find a ticket to the game for me and a few of my friends...but had no luck. In any case, I'm going to go to the stadium on the night of the game to attempt to find a ticket. Does anyone have any better ideas of how I could possibly score a ticket now? Finally, if any of you are coming, and are planning to meet up in town for any reason, let me know. I'd definitely be down for some activities with fellow yanks! Out of curiosity...anyone know which hotel the boys will be occupying? I'll do my best to figure that one out.

This is probably quite the longest shot in the world, but will there be any Yanks in Killarney, Ireland on game day? I'm in Ireland for break and really want to find a pub that's going to show the game (I specifically brought my jersey with me for this). There probably aren't any, I know, but I just want to give it a shot. And if you're a Yank that's in Ireland (but not Killarney), will the game be broadcast on Irish TV?
