We have not won there in 15 years IIRC. Lets hope we can break that streak.

15 years with out a win it's gonna be though but we just have to win and keep that gap between us and barca.

To me this is part 1 of 4 hard games for us.

I'd be happy with a draw, honestly.

I wasn't even watching RM when we won there last time. They always give 110%.
It would be a pcychological boost for the players to break the streak.

Julian De Guzman declared that he will do a year without sex if he can score against Madrid.

He already scored against us in 2005.

A pitty that it isn't the other way around, like if I don't manage to score I'll do a year without, then at least we maybe could have a laugh.

Difficult game probably, but every away game isn't easy for us, especially not in the style we're playing now, I just hope we can form a team now that doesn't have to be changed a lot by injuries and we can get strong in money time.

    Actually, it's 17 years without a win.

edit: Nevermind having a clean sheet, you've got to hope De Guzman scores and we still win. :D

Schuster has broken quite a few records, lets see if he can break this one! Pepe is gonna be solid for this game, plus the return of sneijder, rvn and cannavaro, i think we should win this one. Although, the rb position will be one which concerns me the most.

Also, i hope drenthe and robinho start as wingers, with gago, sneijder or guti in the middle. If RVN isnt fit then raul could be sole striker.

    My Ideal formation would be:
    ---------------Casillas------------------
    ----Salgado ---Pepe---- Canna ---- Heinze
    ------------------Gago/Diarra-------------
    Drenthe--------Guti/Sneijder--------Robinho
    -------------RVN----------Raul-------------

Without RVN - Still deadly, robinho can be a fake winger/Striker
    ---------------Casillas------------------
    ----Salgado ---Pepe---- Canna ---- Heinze
    ------------------Gago/Diarra-------------
    Drenthe--------Guti------Sneijder--------Robinho
    --------------------Raul------------------------

LOL....that would be the best. He did say if he scored, not if they win! Repped.

Although, i would love to have ramos back, a fully rested and fully fit ramos is going to be awesome to watch. On the positive side, this is something he probably needed with the amount of games he has been playing.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I was reading an AS article yesterday on Pepe, who addressed De Guzman's statement. Wouldn't it be great if he scored with a minute left to make the game 1-4? I think Pepe should let him through. (though I read the quote as him saying "I'd give up sex for a year to score against Madrid" rather than a specific promise to do so if he did tally).

The referee called a foul on Ramos and was pulling out a yellow card. And Ramos went out to him and shouted "You are shit!" and thus the resulting ban.

^^^^^^^should note it was already a 2nd yellow, but the yelling increased the ban from one game to two.

This is really funny ( I mean Ramos's word :p)

So i still have to wait for my wish to see our perfect 4 of defender (Ramos,Pepe,Cana,Heinze)

Hope Robben can play as well.

Despite our poor record at Depor, I think we will win this 1-3. Sneijder is back and looking sharp, Pepe has a few games under his belt and is looking solid, as well as Cannavaro and a few other niggled players regaining their fitness.

What I am more excited about at the moment is the fact that the core of our team seem to be coming back to fitness at the same time, and with Valencia and Sevilla in the coming weeks, it will be nice to hopefully be able to field a near or even full strength team for probably the first time this season.

I don't think there is much chance of Robben playing this week. I think he's out for a couple more. I did read that he was running on the pitch, though, so that's encouraging.

I would for sure replace Heinze for Marcelo in my perfect 4 backline.

Heinze is solid in defending, but so, so weak if he has to do anything in attack. I don't think he really suits our stle of play, while Marcelo does.

Right now there is no doubt in my mind that Heinze would start in my 'best back four'.
