I think we'll win MLS Cup 2008 at home against NYRB. Shrug, I dunno. I'm terrible at this stuff. But here's the thing. I really really don't see anything in the Western Conference that scares me. -SJ will be awful -Colorado will still be Colorado -Houston has no forwards after Ching. They'll be great, solid team, but still weaker than last year. -RSL will be better, but is still going to have a hard time placing better than us or Houston. - Chivas. . . . . . .is the wild card. I didn't think they're team was that good at first last year either. Hoo boy. I think Galindo is going to have a hard time replicating last year's Herculez Gomez type year. Look at how thin they were, too. Even if the Bofo rumors are true, I think that will be a bigger distraction than they need.

Seems like most people are thinking 3rd-4th position in the Conference, and get into the playoffs. I have mellowed slightly towards Ruud, after some decent performances, and I'm willing to give the team a season of building. Hope Ruiz is as good as the 13-18 goals he's being predicted otherwise scoring may be a problem!
Your season predictions for 2008 Galaxy? I was wondering what everyone's predictions are for the Galaxy's 2008 season? Since this team is so top heavy and will be a totally different team if any of our big three are injured for significant periods, we need to make some assumptions about their health for this to be meaningful. So assuming that none of Becks, Ruiz, or Donovan miss more than two weeks of play due to injury, how do you see the Galaxy doing this year? Mine: Regular season - 6th overall, 2nd in Western Conference. Playoffs - Semifinals.
