Looking forward to this match as it will be a test for both teams, moreso for the USA.

FWIW the article made an error, MLS would have been in season for almost 2 months by the time of this game, Beckham should be fully fit unless he gets hurt again.

There has still yet to be one credible mention from The FA that this match is going to happen. I'll believe it when I see it...

Agreed, but man would I love to see it happen though. I wonder how our boys would stack up against yours? On form I think the U.S. could give England a run for their money, but unfortunately I think England has too much quality for us to overcome.

I'd say 3-1 in favor of England should the match take place.

If it was confirmed, The FA, BBC, and Sky Sports would be all over it. Still have yet to hear from a credible source. This is the latest from The FA website. Fabio Capello, Lord Triesman and Brian Barwick meet up at Soho Square. Not one mention of this game. http://www.thefa.com/England/SeniorTeam/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2008/03/FansForum_5Mar.htm

I really hope the F.A go through with the plans to make this match possible. I personally cannot watch the MLS, as it makes me extremely mad! They cant even put more than a few passes together before they go ahead and loose it. With U.S.A's national team, their is no way that they can win. I understand that the level of football is not up to ours, obviously! I'm not bagging the US because there are two players that I do rate and thats Howard and maybe Donovan. America has good goalkeepers, but no real force on the field. England will become more of a stronger team, as Capello will be mentally testing them as well as physically. I honestly believe that England could be in the final of World Cup 2010. Yes you can argue that its too early to say, but watch out for our Under 21's mate. The strength from our youth squad will progress more and more under Stuart Pierce.

England vs Fulham Reserves would be more accurate.

The big news here in the United States if the game does happen will be David Beckham and if Jozy Altidore will play because he is the new "American savior" even though he's only started 1 friendly match for the USA. You have no idea how lucky you are in England to get actual football coverage, all we get in America is news about David Beckham. After that it's next to nothing.
