Those two GolTV in-house announcers who do the commentary for the 2nd Bundesliga game on Saturdays are about the worst commentators I have ever heard. I can't listen to them. They don't know the league, their opinions are stupid, they scream way too much and they give away the scores from other matches from other leagues. It's like being forced to listen to two dumb idiots watch a game in a bar when they don't know a darn thing about the sport. From now on, I will change the SAP track to Spanish whenever I hear their voices - and I can't speak more than 5 words of Spanish myself. And why don't they show the Friday German match anymore? P.S. And I agree with Reacharound. I now follow the French League more because on Setanta they use the on-site announcers rather than do a local voice-over.

I have seen ads for what is coming up in March on GOl TV. One of the games is Puerto rico vs the dominican Rep. In the world Cup qualifying. Nothing against either team, but couldnt GOl Tv have picked up a better game - I understand it is the early rounds of qualifying in CONCACAF and I know we are not going to get hte bigger nations, but if I was GOL Tv I would wait until the third round until the bigger nations come in and start showing it. In my opinion I do not think a lot of fans will be watching this game. Simont
Granted, it's a much better baseball game, but anything new and live is a good thing. We don't need yet another repeat of the weekend's games.
You guys have no idea how much better La liga has been without the clowns from Gol TV, it really makes a huge difference, people at the stadium who know what they are talking about and dont need to scream and shout all the time.
Where did Sammy go ? He sure has taken a recess from Gol Tv in Spanish I hope he still has contract with Gol Tv. This Vargas is complete garbage and has been doing the major games since Sammy apparent absence on Gol Tv. Whenever Vargas announces the game I always tune it into English

Yeah, and I doubt there's gonna be PEOPLE watching the Game live in the stands so don't expect a "Sell Out" Crowd for this one. Besides, they're into that other Sport where Players feel the need to inject themselves with Steroids just to break a record.... Yeah, I agree with you as well. I personally think that Sammy and Bruno were GOLTV to say the least.
GolTV Megathread - DishTv Programming Does anyone know why GolTv and Dish can't get the programming straight for the Bundesliga on Saturday and Sunday? DishTV says they just get the feed from GolTV ...meaning GolTV has to fix their programming. I have been down this road before with DishTV and GolTV. I ended up emailing the director of programming to get the problem straighten out. I hate setting manual timers on the DVR. Oh and I agree about the commentators... except for Phil Bonnie (he rocks)

Re: GolTV Megathread - DishTv Programming I have an issue with most of GolTV's programming with Comcast. The games frequently don't show up as scheduled until late friday night or early saturday morning. It will simply state that there will be a Bundesliga game during the normal slot and a La Liga match during their usual slots. Sometimes that results in matches not recording properly. GolTV knows what they are showing because it's available on their website well before it's available on my onscreen guide. That's not the only issue that I've had with GolTV and Comcast.

It seems like every Bundesliga and La Liga match I watch on Gol TV has incredibly low crowd volume. By the way, I have DirecTV if it makes a difference.
