With the news that Jonathan de Guzman is not going to play for Canada, just like Owen Hargreaves. I feel that Canada have lost two great players.

Anyway, Is there any other players who could have played for Canada, but decided to play for another nation?

I would be very greatful for replys.

John V'ant Ship (sp?) - Born in Canada, played for Holland in the 70's/80's.

    more recently

Dani Fernandes - Born in Vancouver, in the Portuguese keeper depth chart after being capped by them at U21 level.

    There will be more.

There are more than a few whores who have played for Jamaica, including the likely no 1 draft pick for the MLS next season.

O'Brian White moved to Toronto in his mid-teens and represented Jamaica before even getting his Canadian citizenship, so i wouldn't call him a whore...

Rochat is who i was thinking of...
