this will be interesting. juni is STILL out from his broken toe, toulalan and källstrom played 90 minutes + travel time wednesday (hopefully they both got the same private jet treatment as sidney) and grosso is doubtful. and none of perrin's combinations up to now have given satisfaction... i'm not saying it's his fault.

good thing JAB's operational, because it frees up bodmer. govou is apparently OK, but AP says he's thinking about starting delgado. and he says KK and toulalan are bulletproof. so for tomorrow we're probably looking at:

    coupet
    clerc - squillaci - boumsong - RVR
    toulalan - bodmer - källström
govou - benzema - ben arfa

we're playing sochaux, but bordeaux is playing metz (makes you wonder if L1 isn't rigged) so there's only one solution: just win, baby!

boumsong had an incredible game against congo so i'm not too worried about him.

looks like Juni still makes all the difference in whether the team plays well or not. i was glad to see Bodmer contribute so much and fred also had a great game with two masterful assists. he seems happy to be on the bench in the beginning of the game which surprised me and obviously that helped him when he came on in the second half.

stupid goal that they let in with the whole sub confusion, but oh well, it didnt matter in the end.

in fred's first and happiest (so far) season in lyon, he came off the bench all the time... big john carew would wear the defenders down in the first half and fred would come in to slice 'em up in the second.

Call me crazy but I have a hunch that Cris isnt getting his starting spot back. Next season maybe but this season I'd go with Boumsong most of the way. Cris, long long layoff, serious injury. Boumsong, good player, in shape and in fine form. Cris will go the bench when he's healthy and he really needs the whole season to heal and be fresh and ready for next year. You dont need Cris for Ligue 1 anyway just for Coup de France and ManU and Cris coming off a huge injury will get burnt badly by ManU.

i agree cris won't and shouldn't make the home leg, but i think he'll assert himself before the match at old trafford.

when he arrived in lyon he was coming off a long layoff for a huge suspension and right from his... second match he was gold.

I wouldnt trust him. Suspension is not the same as injury.

Worst case scenario, Cris could pull a Zizou with that bald head of his and make Ronaldo cry.
