I don't think we are likely to see beer vendors at the HDC. I too have seen them at other sports venues in So. Cal. However the Galaxy seem to be very serious about marketing to families. And it is harder to be taken seriously as a family friendly venue when you seem to be pushing alcohol on the people around the families you are courting. Don't get me wrong I am all for beer vendors bringing me a frosty right to my seat. I am just playing devil's advocate as to why I think we will not see this.

Things are a bit more difficult than you might imagine to make something like this happen; the team is going to keep the first 4 practices closed then on Friday, Feb. 8 the Galaxy will open the morning training session to Season Ticket Holders only! If you do not have season seats and you want to attend, no problem just sign up for your Season seats! I do not have the all the details yet but the practice will be at the Track and Field Stadium and there will be an email/letter going out to all the STHs on Monday with the details, again this is an event for STHs only and will require a printed "ticket" included with the email. But if anyone is planning on going but not using all of their admission tickets (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), I could just happen to show up outside the gate and, you know, if you happen to drop said extra ticket onto the ground, I'd be happy to pick it up, get through the gate and then return it to you.... ...feel free to P.M. me if you think such a thing could possibly happen.
Re: The LA Galaxy has listened and Wants You to attend Practice Feb 8 Nice that there will be an open practice, but it kinda ties into a common complaint of season ticket holders (myself included) that the the STH events are often scheduled so any season ticket holder with a normal job can't attend. That always annoys me. I have no prayer of making a Friday moning practice.

I got there right on time and didn't have a chance to get everyones autograph. We just come across like a bunch of whiners on this thread lol.
What excuse will the judge take to get me out of my freakin' jury duty so that we can go to the Friday morning practice??? This is the first time in 18 years that they didn't dismiss me and the Galaxy has an open practice for STH's? Sucks to be me!

Last year I had a 5 game package and so far this year I haven't bought anything yet. So it seems like if you had any ticket package for last year or this year, you will get the pass. I won't be be able to make it out on Friday, so if someone needs/wants my pass, let me know.

Since I've been so critical I should also give the organization credit when they do something right. I really love the blog! I think this is the first time we've had any up-to-date information on the training camp. And a Who reference as well.
how about lower the prices, we create so much money here and prices still go up and up and how about tailgating, and dont say its the stadium or school cuz US sweden the tailgating was on. its the FO
Alright Steve's, the schedule is up. I would love to see the FO step up and offer a bus trip up to the bay area for the 6/14 and 8/3 games against the smurfs. I don't expect the FO to pay for the bus(es), but a package deal where we could get a bus of supporters to and from the game, with tickets all in aparticular section would be awsome. The only concern is that we have to make sure Tommy Mack is limited on the number of Guiness he consumes on the way to the game.... we want him to be cognitive enough to lead the chants and songs when we get there.
