Any chance for a Sharks win today went down in flames. :(

Next up: San José hosts an early-afternoon game against the Chicago Blackhawks on FSNBA/FSNBA-HD on Saturday.

They made it interesting in the end, after looking like frozen fish.

That last goal by Nolan was incredible! I saw him score one just like that (shoots the puck while flying through the air, literally off his skates!) as a Shark. He was always one of my favorites, too bad his hat-trick tonight had to come against us :(

back-to-backs on the road are always tough...so are 2:00 starts, like this Saturday

It's bizarre how conversely-intertwined the Sharks and the Warriors have appeared to be lately: yesterday's Sharks performance seemed to mirror Tuesday's Warriors performance (i.e. dug themselves into a hole, then made a furious charge near the end but just fell short), while yesterday's Warriors performance seemed to mirror Tuesday's Sharks performance (i.e. flat-out dominant throughout the game).

    29-19. :)

The Warriors welcomed back J-Rich and his Charlotte Bobcats first with a hello, then with the W's biggest win of the season to this point! :D

Next up: Chris Webber is scheduled to make his Warriors on-court return against the visiting Chicago Bulls on TNT/TNT-HD on Thursday.

Emily Grace arrived on earth at 5.29pm on 1/30/08. She weighed 5 pounds 13.4 ounces (she's small because she was early). And she's the most beautiful thing in the world (at least to her mommy and daddy).

Mommy had pregnancy complications (preeclampsia/toxemia) and is still recovering from being more drugged than she's ever been in her life. So for now this is the short & sweet update.

YAYA CHICKIE! Sorry you had such a hard time, but in time the pain and expereince will fade cuz you have to make room in your heart for all the love you'll grow for your beautiful baby girl! Ella was only 6 pounds, and when we left the hospital she was down to 5 14 so I have a good idea of how little she is. SO CUTE! I wanna meet her! yes- I am trying to live through you with my dying baby fever- haha. Get as much rest as you can and enjoy every secodn of it.....

on a side note.......does anyone know where we could go from Modesto on a day type of trip to the snow without getting stuck in it with chains and having to weigh our truck down and all that jaz? We just want to go so the baby can sled and have fun for the day....had planned on going to Strawberry to my aunt's cabin but theres over 3 ft up there and wede have to drop at least 100 lbs in our truck bed to get up the hill with chains.......too much work.......

    Any suggestions?

Tanks! I'm getting a lot better now. Man this first week has been crazy! Emi was down to 5 pounds 3 ounces yesterday, but she's back up to 5 pounds 10 ounces today. That stuff they give you for preeclampsia is really rough on mommies and babies!!! I think we're both just now starting to get over it!

I wish we were at our mountain house! We'd invite you up there to play in the snow. But honestly, I don't even know what the weather is like up there. I know it snowed there in the past month or so though. I'm so out of touch with things...or really distracted by other things I guess. :D Maybe next winter we can make plans for your family to visit ours for a snow weekend. That would be awesome fun! We could even get you guys there cuz Modesto is kinda sorta somewhat on the way. Anyway, we'll keep this in mind for next snow season! Unless we have a freakish season and it's still snowing in March (we should be there all month). Then we'll call you up if you still wanna go.

    Tanks!

We have lots of pictures. I just gotta remember how to post them on here now, and also get the time to get them out of the camera first.... My husband framed one of the pics and brought it to me to put up in the hospital. Everyone was impressed that I had her pic up in the hospital when she was just hours old.

Well, the term "proud parents" certainly fits! And the two of you clearly deserve to be! :)

And you can always e-mail the pictures to me...

    Well hello all.

After a long hiatus, I think it's time to return. My account was "frozen" and I guess the issue's solved now.

I probably won't be posting much but I will be constantly reading as I have been since the summer.

Congratulations on all the kids and stuff ladies.

    29-20. :(

Not even Chris Webber's return could help Golden State stop the running of the visiting Chicago Bulls. :(

Next up: The Warriors host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
