Fair to the UK

    Lorrie Fair heads to Chelsea. Is Lorrie really just 29? Geeze. I know back in the day, she had her detractors but she put in some good work. Her versatility was useful and could plug in the rightwing hole at points. Wonder why she is going now but didn't earlier. Which semi-pro men's team was she on?

    Interesting that they refer to her as an "icon." Marketing, I guess ... but I'd say that's definitely "UnFair to the UK."

    I've always liked Fair but I understood why she was beaten out by the other mid-fielders. I always wondered what happened to her as she was pretty young. Last I remembered she was playing for OL in France.

    It says she retired from international football. When did that happen?
