It is -- although the men's game has always been played at a fast pace.

But I will say this: over the past fortnight, this is the best tennis I have ever seen played. And I've been watching sport in various forms for more years than a care to remember over my lifetime.

    Wow. What timing.

Linds, I can relate to that like you would not believe.

I don't know about your situation but in regard to mine I know that this person who I love dearly KNOWS that they let me down and that there are repercussions to their actions/inactions that are larger than any I could ever dole out.

It hurts both of us. :(

aw- Im sorry! Yours seems a bit more harsh then my situation. It just makes me mad when you plan something for weeks and rearrange your schedule so somebody can join you and then they ditch you and now we are left with not doing anything at all......and you later find out why they ditched you and its just LAME....more annoyed than anything......

and I am dying of baby fever right now......I'm so sad that Ella is growing up so fast...I want my baby back

Trust me - in about 13 years, you will wish she was growing up (and leaving) even faster!!!

Then, when they're 25, you'll wish you could see those baby years again.

You'll at least be hoping that they can pay off their own college loans!

I find that in the 10 to 12 age range, the kids are old enough that you can do almost anything with them, yet they are still young enough to think that you are cool. We got lucky with our daughter. She's really easy to live with, which is good because she's going to be in our house probably until she's 25 or 30!

    GOOOOOO QUAAAAAAKES!!!!! :D

College loans not a problem. And the daughter is about one of the most wonderful people I know.

Yikes! I was just invited to a Sharks game on Saturday.

    I've never been. Hmmmmm. $60

Haven't sent my reply yet. I work Friday night.

I could use a little fast paced excitement right now.

Yah- she still wakes up 2-5 times a night and she's a yr and a half....drives me INSANE...but the last 3 nights she's slept 11 hours straight....I am EXCITED and just hoping it becomes a new thing for us.......:D

Ah, sleepless nights! Changing diapers! Spoon feeding! Taking the kid to Happy Hallow until you're sick of the place. (I love Happy Hallow, but there are limits.)

I'm so glad my kid grew out of that stuff many years ago.

Then I stupidly agreed to get a dog. He's only 6 months old or so. He has recently started sleeping eight hours at a stretch at night. I'm so pumped!

Right now, he's peacefully tearing apart a brand new rope toy.

    GOOOOOO QUAAAAAAKES!!!!!! :D
