Yes, Jorge Maradona. He supposed to have lived in Canada from his 3rd untill his 11th/12th, that would probally make him Canadian wouldn´t it? Maybe he is eligble for the under 16 or 17 teams?
If his parents bothered to get him Canadian citizenship then he'd be eligible to play for Canada...we'll have to see how good he is and whether he is on the Argentine radar for their U17's. He says he dreams of playing for Boca and Argentina in the interview...
You can add Alex Elliott on trial with SpVgg Unterhaching, Regional League South. I had a valid link to a short mention of this in an article in Bild online, but the link is now invalid. According to a poster on V's board, he is on trial here, but will go back to sign with SV Wilhelmshaven (Oberliga Nord) if he fails to catch on with the higher division Munich club.

5 kids from an Ottawa club team are trialing thanks to a recommendation from their former coach. The mother of Damien Merette helped organize an academy team in Ottawa and brought a coach from her native Brasil to teach her kid and his teammates. The coach is now back in Brasil with the Nacional SP U17's and these kids will be trialing with the U18's. Dak Drake, the older bros. of Zachary Drake (one of the youth trialists), has signed a pro deal with a futsal club in Sao Paulo.
