    a post from one of the fulham boards sums up exactly how i feel now: "i cant believe ive just spent 3 fcuking hours glued to a poor quality radio broadcast, fcuk this its just embaressing."

    No, if anything it would be the other way around. The FA Cup is infinitely more prestigious than the Carling Cup. Larger clubs usually don't give much priority to the Carling Cup.

    The F.A. Cup is open to any club registered with the F.A. (I believe about 700 plus entered this season) The Carling Cup is open only to clubs in the top four divisions. The F.A. Cup is much more important.
