He's better than Kerry Zavagnin IMO. Though I'd rather have Davy Arnaud.

agreed. He's still young, does a job, Id have no problem with the move. Rumor has it we could use an outside midfielder or two.

I'm not a big Victorine fan, so this doesn't excite me all that much.

The real rumor seems to be that Kansas City is looking to deal Victorine. The San Jose part seems to just be speculation tacked on to the end. I would not be too excited to have victorine, but would be willing to give hi a chance if he puts on the jersey.

He's slow but so was Brad Davis.

Right now every rumor has one thing in common. If a player wants out or the team wants to trade/release him, he is rumored to go to SJ.

Who says we can't find enough players?

Silly rumor. That's why Bigsoccer is so exciting in the pre-season.

Brad Davis was never slow. His playmaking ability and free kicks did all the talking. Speed is good, but not allways the priority.

Great! Then I can do my Sasha Victorine imitation. A voice that is sort of a cross between a mouse and a hamster calling for Chris Albright to give him the ball. :D

I'd love to get my hands on Sealy. But, with Johnson probably heading to Europe, and Victorine on the trading block (which means Arnaud will likely be strictly a right mid) it's likely that KC wants to keep Sealy for a starting role this year alongside this Columbian they have had their eyes on for a while.

He's not young, he's 30, been in MLS for 11 years. He's a journeyman at this stage, a roster-filler if you ask me. Only positive I see is he's local, at least from my view, from Sacramento. I'm much more excited by the thought of Benny Feilhaber...

Prefer Victorine over the combine talent. Did Edu, Adu, Besagno or Wynne help their MLS make the playiff?????

    No thanks. Pass. Next.

BTW I'd def take Arnaud or Zavagnin instead of Sasha. I don't want Vagenas either.

But I could support Klein or Allbright coming here.

Always liked Sasha....but his time has past. I'd rather suffer with young, devloping players than be mediocre with old ones.

With so many open roster slots, I'm not picky. I could support any of the names in this thread... except Klein. His crosses make Mullan look like Davis. I remember The [Corporate Name] Worst Game Ever at San José where he had a shot from inside the box, and the ball went out... for a throw in... further from the goal line than where he stood, and it still makes me spit Healthy Choice Butter Popcorn from my mouth in laughter.
