Sagu is very intense and he seems a lot bigger on the field than he is face to face. He's pretty gentle off the field. I think goalkeepers are supposed to yell at their players to a certain extent. Although it's better to bark out commands before a goal than after.

So now that the Blast have lost 5 straight are we going to see the changes someone heard Id Heel promise?

I will say that during games Sagu is VERY intense, but he always has time to wave to us,high five the kids at the games, and after games is always signing autographs. And when we lose he always comes over and apologizes for the loss. He is a class gentleman

I picked the Blast to win tonight,it is amazing what one guy ( Neto ) means to that team.
The same thing that happened to the Blast with Neto out is happening now in Chicago with Ughy out.

I dont know if Neto is the reason, it may just be that they won the same night he returned, as he did only have one assist. I think the team just thought that they needed to play better tonight, maybe they had a lot more energy or something

It does give you confidence. I know I've had certain teammates that made me feel like we were going to win when they played.

Kelly is probably safe for a while now, but tonight wouldn't be a good night for the Blast to lay an egg.

OUCH, A SHUTOUT. DID NETO PLAY IN PHILLY ?
WITHOUT KNOWING,I WOULD GUESS THEY RESTED HIM BECAUSE OF THE BACK TO BACK GAMES.

IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET SHUTOUT IN INDOOR SOCCER EVEN IF YOU TRY,STORM GOT SHUTOUT ONCE IN ST. LOUIS AND IT ALMOST ONLY HAPPENES BY ACCIDENT. I BET THIS PUTS MORE PRESSURE ON KELLY.

THE THING IS THEY ONLY ALLOWED 2 GOALS ON THE ROAD AND YOU GOT TO WIN A GAME LIKE THAT.

It's funny, when I wrote this in the back of my mind I was thinking "goose egg" (as in shutout), but I didn't think anything of it.

Neto didn't play because of precautionary reasons.

It's kind of amazing the Blast only gave up 3 goals in 2 games and didn't even win them both.

What happen to the blast spark. If anyone saw tonights game against monterrey, all I can say is " What happened".
Sagu looks terrible this season, making dumb plays and missing alot of easy goals. I say let kern play.

Celenza hasn't done anything this season. Last year he was all over the ball and really hustling. This year it seems like he just don't have that spark.

    Wakefield just plain sucks.

Seems like every game we have a few players that still have it.
    Millwood, Cabral, Neto, nelson.

    Garrisonm,
I agree that Kern should get a chance--Sagu has made some big mistakes recently. As for Celenza--I think he's breaking out now--2 goals in the last 2 games. I don't think Millwood is that great--yes he's good but tends to lose the ball--opposing teams get it from him very easily,he doesn't hold the ball well. I am not too impressed with Pierce and want to see Todd play--he was a spark plug his few games that he played and now he's not dressing for the games--What's up with that. Robbie Aristedemo has got to be our unsung hero so far--an energizer bunny that is everywhere on the field.
I heard that Otto was at the game tonight--but I actually saw and talked to Hector Marinaro. He said that when he walked into the building it was a lot of memories for him....Heard that Dewan Bader was also there.
Anyone see Eric Geyer's antics with the refs after that game????? Where's the red card and suspension for that???

I think milwood is one of the best on the team, it seems like he is the only one out there hustling for the ball. Celenza use to be great due to his speed, but I havn't seen that all game. Also, Danny kelly doesn't seem to be that great of a coach, they should bring wittman back and kelly should dress, he still has a couple years in him.

Speaking of veteran players, has anyone heard anything on an old baltimore spirit player named Franklin Macintosh. He was probably one of the best players I ever seen play.

Milwood did it again last night against philadelphia, and thank god kern was behind in goal.

Sorry man, but Celenza has never been great because of his speed. His quickness, skills, scoring ability are the best in the league when he is HEALTHY. Wakefield is still one of the best in the league. Man you are watching a different game then the rest of us.

I spoke to Orf and Geyer before the game started but didn't see Hector in attendance although I did hear he was there.

Yes, Erich went on a 2 minute tirade after the game on the field at the refs. It was pretty heated, and when he came off the floor he was shaking his head in disgust. I do remember that Monterrey was trying to call a timeout before the Blast winning goal but couldn't get possession of the ball. My guess is he was probably complaining about the blue card issued with 2:30 left in the game

On a related note with the Geyer vs the refs at the end of the game, and I am sure this will create a stir. The officiating crew included...Brian Hall, LOL. If he is the bald headed ref, he is HORRENDOUS. The side of the field he called was atrocious the entire game. At soon as I heard the name on the loudspeakers I thought, uh oh. And like I said, if Hall is the bald headed ref, my god is he terrible

Well I guess we don't agree on that, I think billy nelson should be captain. I see Pj not pulling his weight anymore. Celenza may still be great I just haven't seen it. If the blast lose 3 more, their pretty much, done for the season.
