I think I speak for about 95% of the readers of this thread when I say: Stop it. Just stop it. None of you are changing anyboy's minde here, so just let what was once reasonable thread die it's overdue death. Feel free to argue via pm and let current games be at the top of the forum. for all that is holy, just stop...
Sorry. I should've seperated that into two posts. After the first line, which I was just kidding about, I didn't intend for any of the rest of that post to be any kind of response to yours. My fault.
YA Moderator: 'Bring out your dead!' Uniteo: Here's one. Feilhaber Thread: I'm not dead. YA Moderator: 'Ere. He says he's not dead! Uniteo: Yes, he is. BF Thread: I'm not! YA Moderator: He isn't? Uniteo: Well, when's your next round? YA Moderator: Thursday. BF Thread: I think I'll add a few more reasonable posts. Uniteo: You're not fooling anyone, you know. Look. Isn't there something you can do? BF Thread: [singing] Eight minutes! Eight minutes! [whop - thread locked] Uniteo: Ah, thanks very much. YA Moderator: Not at all. See you on Thursday. Uniteo: Right. All right. [howl] [clop clop clop] Who's that, then? YA Moderator: I dunno. Must be a Bradley gameday thread. Uniteo: Why? YA Moderator: He hasn't got sh*t all over him.
I thought Derby was playing shite football, shown by their possession (or lack there of) of the ball. Feilhaber comes on and is able to help them put some passes together instead of just kicking the ball deep to the corner and hoping the striker can take on the opposing team's entire defense. I don't know how many times I saw their striker receive the ball and try to take on defenders. However this doesn't work for Derby because their forwards are at a Championship level. It also leaves them with a predictable one-dimensional attack. Perfect example of Feilhaber's ability to remedy this problem is seen in his pass mentioned by other posters. Bottom line, Benny made a huge mistake by moving to Derby and England. Derby plays poor football and outside of the top clubs, the importance of possession is minimal in England. Oh well.
