El Mundo Deportivo mearly says that he "suffered discomfort" during the pre-match warmup.

Eto'o is okay. Still on the pitch.

Counter attack sees Xavi run from midfield, feed to Eto'o who rams the ball home from edge of box.
    Welcome back Samu! :D

And of course, that classic banner in the crowd shown at the end of the game...
"RIJKAARD : YOU'LL NEVER SMOKE ALONE"

Ronnie did good overall. He had some bad turnovers but overall he seemed into it especially after his goal which boosted his confidence.

Gio did good as well. The goal hit his arm but it was stuck to the body so it was fine. He was a bit selfish at the beginning and made some bad passes but he showed hunger which was good.

Eto'o got a great goal as well. Nice to see the whole team stepping up without Messi.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Sylvinho the last two matches; let's hope it lasts!

hmmm, sylvinho's one of the god squad...maybe he's been counseling Ronnie on the side...

So nice to see Samu score again! And did you catch him complain to Ronnie about how he needs to speed up the tempo :D

Good match, nice passing. Jorquera not great though. It's a good thing Valdes never gets injured.

Gio did well the first half, faded the second, a little selfish. Bojan has some sweet moves, and a bit selfish at times as well. But what can you expect from a couple of teenagers. They'll get over it.

Sylvinho looks to be back in his old form again. I think he's been better than Abidal was lately. Xavi and Iniesta just don't get the respect they should. They do such amazing work when they're on the field.

I thought that Boka did really well for Stuttgart, except for that one error with Ronnie.

    The Rijkaard banner rocked!
Anyone else ready for the Big Match in 2 weeks? I am!

    RIJKAARD YOU'LL NEVER SMOKE ALONE

what a perfect "cherry on the top" ending to a great game.

EVEN GUDDY PLAYED WELL....has anyone checked the thermostat in Hell lately?

Barça could have scored 10 tonight...I can't think of one bad thing to say about any player. well, Gio was a little selfish but I won't hold it against him.

    Bring on Valencia!

Guddy took a shot that was heading straight for the 2nd tier, only to have it hit a defender on the head and go out for a corner kick...I was amazed because Guddy seemed dissapointed!
Maybe he likes to see the ball fly? That would explain a lot of his shots...:D

The match was not announced on TSN Canada so I didn't get to see it. Got home late last night so trying to catch up on reading the reports here and on el mundo and sport. Nice to see no one in the press roiling the waters for a change and having a more positive view on things.
Really happy with the outcome, seems like everyone was playing to the max. Dinho and Eto'o should be feeling the rush of their personal triumph as well and hopefully it means they're on the road to being their old selves. :)
Anywhere I might be able to download the match?
