probably saving Sheva for Sunday and giving Maka a chance not to be rusty.

maybe he is off to be saved for Sunday, but you would think he could play 90 today and 90min 5 days from now if need be

I think he needs to be out there practicing

if he's to score the only goal in a game this week,be it a fantastic finish or a defected shot that goes in off his arse,i think we all can agree it's better it happens on sunday.

"Offside" is a very vague word in the case of this goal.

Hell, I am just glad Kalou didnt sky it into the stands like normal. Maybe some progress on that front?

    Seriously? What the ********?

Have we ever had a game with this many chances, and literally no resistance and haven't scored????

Maybe we should start Kalou off with some easy finishing lessons. First, his dinner. Graduate to tying his shoes and in a decades time, scoring goals on a regular basis.

Did Kalou sky another one over the goal?

Sopcast not working for me today

Anybody surprised Sidwell didn't get a chance to play today? I thought he would be starting based on the news story today on chelseafc.com

Sounds like this game has recipe to be the one that costs us our home undefeated streak. All of these chances and then Valencia snags a cheap goal in the final minutes.

the home record is more important in the league. We lost to Barca 2 yrs ago in CL, so that's not the record we should worry about.

there's absolutely no reason he shouldn't have at least been subbed on by now. he truly should've started.
