Aye, we're dominating them all over the park.

Sheva really should have scored, his loss of that half yard of pace prevented him from getting there to have a solid touch.

    Shame...

You don't see too many teams being dominated like this in a European fixture, fair play to the lads, they're well up for it and not holding back.

    Thought Lampards was in there....ho-hum.

We're pressing hard and holding a very, very high line at the back, we might just get caught out if we're not careful.

Valencia have to be very pleased with that half.
They've been battered with attack after attack, and their keeper is having one of the best games if his career, and hold on for a 0-0.

Kalou has been........ I don't know, I haven't seen this bad for a long time. Sheva and SWP as well, but not as much. If we had Joe Cole come on for Kalou (not sure if he's on the bench) and bring on another midfielder for Sheva then change to one striker, maybe we will score. Even though Pizarro doesn't play going forward he's bound to get an assist for Lampard and co.

I'm actually willing to say that Sheva is trying his heart out today. He just cant get that last touch.

Kalou should never play as a winger. Pizarro shouldn't play this deep. This is not a 4-4-2. If you are already playing this formation, then stick to it. This is the coaching staff's job to make sure players know where they are.

When we play 4-4-2 with Kalou and Sheva, Sheva plays deep, and today, it's Pizarro who plays this deep. What part of 2 in 4-4-2 don't managers understand.

..thats because he's still looking for his first touch.

Still, you have to admire the man, he's giving his all, he's no slacker and isn't holding back from getting stuck in.

good first half from all our boys includeing sheva and phillips, who have been trying but lacking the old rub of the green so to speak.

we sholud be winning but in fairness Canizares is putting in a motm display between the posts.

    still a class keeper imo.

I wonder if we can trade Pizarro, Kalou and Sheva, maybe Yasik too:p;) for Villa, none of them, except for Yasik, look up to the job

I think I'd start Sahar and/or Nouble, our 6'4'' 16/17 year old until Jan, at least they have pace

Overall look pretty good though, Bridge playing well and still better than A. Cole
