Okada was the coach that got Japan into their first WC in 98 after being thrown into the job halfway through a very torrid qualifying campaign. He's also brought Consadole Sapporo into J1, and led the Marinos to back-to-back titles. So he definitely has some mean credentials. He's more of a shrewd coach more than anything I think. He manages the players well, and has some good tactics along with that to get the results.
LOL he's someone I'd consider highly suspicious on a packed train standing close to a couple of ladies.

How is Takeshi Okada as a coach? I have limited info on him as there's crap all on Wikipedia. All I know is he took Yokohama F Marinos to two J.League titles. How is his coaching style? It'll be interesting what he'll do with the left and right back combination. Maybe Komano can go back to right back. Is Okada likely to really change the team play THAT much? How does he coach? Attacking or Defensive like? Please inform.
Dunno but it doesn't matter cause he will never ever ever ever ever get picked again. Only cause, Yuji Nakazawa and Marcus Tulio Tanaka are about a trillion times better.

Well, since the top 3 from this year's Asian Cup 2007 already qualify for Asian Cup 2011 in Qatar. (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Korea Republic) Japan will be a top seed in the AC qualifying field. First thing's first. 17 December will be the Preliminary Draw. Teams 20-27 will be drawn to first play Home-and-Away ties against each other (Teams 20-23 v Teams 24-27). This will reduce the qualifying field to 20 teams. Next, the 20 remaining sides will split into 5 groups of FOUR teams each. They will play each other Home-and Away, 6 matches total. The top two sides in each group qualify for AC 2011. In case any one is wondering, the last two qualifying spots will be given to the winners of the AFC Challenge Cup 2008 and 2010. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_AFC_Asian_Cup_qualification VN
LOL, this is off topic, sorry shuvy, i just heard (very outdated news) Troussier was rejected by FFA (Aussie FA) for being demanding LOL, sorry if it was random, it just struck me laughing. Because if he got the job, he wanted a new coaching team, and become the coach of the youth side and olympic side , like what he did to japan, its funny, but the FFA said that was too demanding.
