    12-8-4. :)

Joe Thornton celebrated his second anniversary with the Sharks by assisting in a much-needed home win. :D

Next up: a locally untelevised rematch (but one that'll be available here via the NHL Center Ice package) with the Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Monday.

    9-7. :)

Not even a scoreboard fire could delay the Warriors enough from yet another win! :D

Next up: Oracle Arena hosts the Orlando Magic on Monday.

I felt bad watching the Warriors tonight. Those people showed up to watch a terrible team which is destined to abandon them next year, yet they were still willing to give their time and money. That's what they have to do, though. It's a fan's job.

The Warriors isn't a terrible team and I haven't heard anything about the W's abandoning anyone.

Or were you referring to the SuperSonics?

Bingo...Sonics on their way out. Too bad, but that's a lot of potential sports dollars for the Sounders management to attract.

Hopefully still named the Seattle Sounders come 2009.

In any case, hopefully the SuperSonics finds a way to stay put in Seattle.

Same opponent, same final score, same Mike Grier game-winning goal! :D

Next up: a trip to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.

    Re: Birthday (11/23)!

It makes you feel young again. Nothing actually makes you young again. ;)

Then you get up the next morning and for some reason your right knee, which didn't hurt at all when you went to bed, is now puffed out and stiff. Then you might feel old, but you won't actually be much older in the grand scheme of things :D

    9-8. :(

Baron Davis fouling out for the overtime period helped negate a massive W's comeback run and snap their six-game winning streak. :(

Next up: the Milwaukee Bucks scamper into town on Wednesday.

No - you'll be old, and in pain! [This is why we like to watch the game]

    Jibberish Again

Nick on FSC Fone-In is quite happy he's refused the Galaxy to renew his season tickets, do to numerous bungles, esp. their handling of the Beckham arrival situation. Says he prefers MiniChivas.

HAHAHAHA!! The show's based in L.A.!:p

That's all right. I'm in my 30's. I was taken for being in my late 40's or 50's recently. :(

As with the recent game against the Rockets, this one wasn't even close! :D

Mark and Bajoro, hope you are staying dry up there! :p

In some weird twist of irony, the well in our Sierra Mountain home has gone dry. For the first time in over 30 years. (It's not really all dried up, just below the level to get water out of it...and into the house....). Good thing we don't live there, but still very scary for what it means for the water supplies.

Maybe you all could send some water our way? :)

They (the weatherpeople) say we're going to be getting some. Two feet in the Sierras.

Yeah, I'm staying dry, but I hear that Salmon Creek (the creek mind you, not the brew pub) has some water to spare! We've got closed bridges up here. Hell, I-5 is totally flooded out north of me. Much of the Oregon Coast is inaccessible right now.

Hmmmm. Speaking of Salmon Creek . . . I could use a pint right about now!

    GOOOO QUAAAAKES!!!!

    Thanks BT!

I've been busy with our new dog and didn't have time to make it to the pub. But I do and an Ebenezer Seasonal Ale in my fridge, and dogie is sleeping like a log. And I remember when there were lots Dogie Diners in SF. That would be before Goodsport's time.

Oh, and I-5 is now at least partially open, which means that my morning commute is going to suck again tomorrow. It's funny how closing off a big ass freeway north of the bridge dramatically reduces the traffic going south on that bridge in the morning.

I'm going to go crack that ale.

    Go Quakes!
