I was riding around at lunchtime downtown at monroe and michigan and who is crossing the street but Dave Sarachan out with his daughter and her friends. Said hi and wished him well.No matter you say about his coaching ability, he is a decent guy. Not earth shaking but it is the off season and you just don't expect to see anybody soccer related on your lunch.

He was at the UIC-Northwestern game last night. Someone w/ the last name Sarachan scored the 2nd goal for UIC so I'm guessing that was his son or nephew. Teenage daughter was not present so I can't comment.
Sarachan is at most UIC games watching his son play. I've talked to him a few times and he's a very nice guy. Very approachable.
I heard this from someone I forgot from who and I don't know if it's true that his contract with the Fire is good till the end of this year even though he's no longer with the team. Does anyone know?
