Don't you guys see what's happening?

    Team has a meeting.

    Marco is out of favor.

    Ray talks bad about Marco.

It is the team that is knifing Marco (with good reason, IMHO). Ray's just jumping on the bandwagon because it's a hell of a lot easier to be on the side of the 24 guys who won't get fired as opposed to the one that will.

That meeting had to be an anti-Marco tirade. Ray's not stupid. He [inned the team's hopes on Marco and now can do the same with the blame.

Too bad it's not Trask being blamed.

I might be of the minority, but I would like to see Marcos name added to the list at the end, right under Harkes with another year or 2. He is starting to look really ragged on the field (while he does have good moments, I have gotten to the point where everytime he heads to the corner I wince... and beg him to at least plact it inbounds). We could get a pretty nice player for the price we are paying for him.

I will take it like a man! (err thats a very hetero "Take"...) --Still the Etch thing is far from solved... one game against an understrength Fire hardly solves the issue... ALTHOUGH if Hristo plasy like he did tonight i will gladly eat that comment as well!! :D

p.s. so glad someone called me on this!!

That seems the most likely scenario to me. Ray had his armband yanked when he was a productive player in his prime by a coach who ignored interpersonal considerations and turned the 79 Strikers into a high-priced soap opera. I think he would be reluctant to yank someone else's armband unless it was clearly helpful to team morale.

Glad to help out guys. Now if you have any penetrating non-trolling insights to offer me about the Gs...
