So it's not that bad. I needed a camera anyway.

Amy, I think I may have found my new "lucky hat." It is not a hat though. I'm testing it out today.

Maybe this game ain't the best to do this test. Then again...now's probably the best time.

Frustrating game. Well, what's frustrating is not pulling out a win this week. Three games - three draws. That's not good enough. Now the Metros are top of the league. We really need a win next week.


I managed to piss someone off after the game. I guess he doesn't like my sarcastic humor.

Armas was slapping hands after the game. Linds, Chrissy, and I kinda backed off. He made a little "scary face" and said, "Oooo.... It's the Fire! Oooo!!" Like we were scared of him.

So I said back, "No you're just too short!"

Well, the fan standing next to me didn't think it was funny. "Yeah, well he's a national team player isn't he?!" the guy said as he grabbed his kids and stormed off.

Whatever. It's funny cuz I'm only 5-3. I'm short. So what the heck right do I have to give him grief. Whatever. Some people need to lighten up.


You know, I have to say that the Fire team is class though. The players are pretty nice for the most part. And they have great fans. I really enjoy the Fire games cuz I have respect for that team.

Kelly Gray is just awesome! He's a San Jose boy! And he's a great player. So glad to see him doing well. Even though I really wanted him on our team.


Okay, well, I'm tired as heck. So I'm gonna run!

Strangest thing just happened to me at Starbucks.

This couple were debating if I was someone famous. I didn't catch the part where they said who they thought I was, though.

I wasn't really expecting Starbucks to be so busy. But there was a large crowd waiting for drinks. Mainly cuz it's hot and everyone wanted fraps. Which take forever.

So I was standing there waiting for my drink. And a crowd was building up. I was daydreaming...hoping I wasn't gonna miss the second half of the game, etc. And for some reason I got snapped outta my daydream and looked right up at the woman. She got this look on her face like, "Oh my god it is her. Oh my god she caught me staring." Her mouth hung open for a few seconds. I looked away (but I have great range of vision so I could still see her). She looked at the guy she was with and said, "It is her! It's her eyes. She just looked at me and she has the same eyes." She musta thought I couldn't hear her. The guy leaned around a person who was blocking his view. He looked at me for a bit. Trying to see my eyes I guess. Who knows. And then he said, "Well do you want me to ask for an autograph?" I'm not sure if he was joking, but his tone seemed to suggest he thought the woman was crazy.

Anyway. That was quite hilarious. But they started making me nervous. I wanted my dang drink to be ready! Then.... my drink was ready and they were standing right in front of the straws. So I had to get around them. I said excuse me and they just kinda got all quiet like they didn't know what to do. But they didn't say anything. Just stepped outta the way. The woman kept looking though and I think she was making the man nervous cuz he wouldn't look at me.


It was too too funny! I wish I had heard who they thought I was though. I had like hardly any makeup on. I didn't do crap to my hair. So it was all puffy and curly (I have naturally wavy bordering on curly hair). When I used to wear my hair like that in college this one guy in one of my classes used to call me Mariah. But I look nothing like her. I think he only said that cuz of the hair. Anyway, this whole thing today was just too funny.

 

They just know you're a soccer diva. woooo hooooo

Now with the red hair...I get Alyson Hannigan every now and then and Erika Amato from the band Velvet Chain.

 

Maybe they thought you were SJQF from Big Soccer.


By the way, at the Fire match on saturday night, right after halftime, I was at the beer stand(wife is on strike) and I saw like 7 or 8 guys with accents, english maybe, talking to this stunning looking girl and they were taking pics with her. They may have been players from somewhere cuz they had the same warmups on but they were chatting with this girl and she looked like she may have some type of noteriety. She was blazing hot. Any ideas who she was or the guys for that matter.

 

From your description, they sound like the coach-trainees now at MLS Camp. All of this year's group are from England, with one Welshman, according to what they told me. Now, who the hotty was, I have no idea.

 

That sounds about right.....I think she had an MLS badge on.....maybe she was a league escort......I need to be escorted!

I also got my pics back from the HDC trip. I didn't take too many. Just ones from where we were sitting. But they're still pretty spectacular. That stadium is just awesome!


I am soooo not looking forward to work today.

Yesterday, first thing in the morning, I found out something had to be done yesterday that usually takes about 3-4 days to do. I almost got it done. Almost. But no one else finished either. So it's all good.

But when I got home yesterday I was exhausted! Completely and totally exhausted. I went to bed at 7pm!

And now I'm STILL three days behind at work. With this project to finish up on top of it. And we're having problems with the software we use. Whatever anyone tells you, using web-based HR software is NOT a good idea. You know how the internet sometimes stalls up? Well, yeah...the software does that too. Who's brilliant idea was that?!!


Anyway, I better go get ready to face this day at work.

So my day sucks...meaning I'm in a real pissy mood. Just to let you know before I say this next part.

I'm getting fishin sick and tired of trying to discuss a topic and having it fishin merged with those fishin "official" threads. Then I have to dig to see the discussion.

I really wanted to see what the discussion is on Joey going to Colorado. But the fishin discussion gets merged with the fishin official thread.

And when I open a forum, I want to see what's the topic of discussion at that time. But I can't do that cuz everything is fishin merged. So I go to the other teams boards now to see what's news.

This is just fishin ridiculous.

Whatever. I'm just fishin tired of this fish!

Isn't it so much fun when random people mistake you for a celebrity? I was out in Huntington Beach last summer and these adolescent boys thought i was gwyneth paltrow, so they started yelling "gwyneth" and then they followed me around until they figured out i was w/my family. But it was still cool to experience fame.
