It will be interesting to see how LA reacts to Ruud's very first lambasting. It could be the start of a fine tradition of such

This is the first time I've seen Sydney play, and it's just "meh". Fortunately for them it is the Galaxy, and not Chivas, which is the LA team they're facing.

For the information of the American posters here:

this "NoRightFoot" clown actually cheers for a club that hate Sydney which is why his post is so negative and way off the mark. His club is below Sydney on the table at the moment too:D

Sydney did give the Asian Club Champs (Urawa Reds) a real hard time in the last Club Championship recently where they drew twice with them, and would ahve won if match fitness held up. Sydney aren't quite at full strength but they only played a competition game 2 days ago and had a couple of players just complete Olympic qualifiers (Milligan went off after about 37 mins).

LA started very well but lost their way quickly when Sydney scored. Still, it has been a good game to watch. It is only a friendly remember.

I found a website with a link, but it kept telling me I didn't have Sopcast installed (when I did). I followed their links and reinstalled it and it still said the same thing, so I dunno what's happened.

it is important to note that sydneys team has 0 starting eleven players remaining on the field, even the goalie has been changed.

and wtf is with that guy of yours kicking a player on the ground...

Sounds like Galaxy are missing a few key players. People will probably read more in to this result than they should, but it's still a shame for Galaxy. Kudos to Sydney for getting what sounds like a cracking crowd together.

Well, I hope the Galaxy do well meaning I hope they win. As you can see I am a Dynamo fan but in cases like this I'll cheer for the Galaxy because for some reason MLS has tagged them as the face of the league. Having said that I think it is in the best interest of us all if you guys showcase the league by performing well at such events because when you guys don't then it does not help the whole Galaxy & Beckham brand and most importantly it re-enforces the believe that we have an inferior league to people within and outside our border. In your team’s defense, they just need sometime; I WISH MLS/LA FO would understand that, maybe then they would think about the team before the potential profits. Good luck.

He's been linked with European clubs a couple of times, hasn't he? Wander if he'd fancy a move to the Galaxy!? Probably not now.

lol, Harmse is a dirty, dirty Canadian... Just a little inter-Commonwealth love. :D

btw, I've never seen him like this... its uncharacteristic... So is he out for NZ? LA is out of defenders.
