    turns out that the mystery man who was stopped trying to film the scottish squad training before the match is none other than agostino pecorario, a close friend of Italy boss Roberto Donadoni, who is listed on the Italian FA's website as an official "osservatore", or observer.

    it made no difference whatsoever to the match. alex mcleish himself admitted that they stopped training before anything could have been filmed. however, this hasn't stopped gordon smith, the SFA chief exec, asking UEFA to look into the moral issues of it all.
