That's what I thought, and I think that 2.1 is good value for the Dutch (providing they can actually hit the net as opposed to do everything but, as against Luxembourg :p)

Above all else, I think it's partially contingent on how Germany get on (not 100% sure about this) against Wales anyway.

The only way Germany can get past us is if we lose and they win, even a 0-0 would be enough for Holland.

It's strange how we've been struggling to score throughout the campaign.

It's why I'm not particularly bothered about which group we'll get drawn into. Best get the quality opposition out of the way in the group. We've got more of a chance to beat the likes of Germany in a group game than in the knock-out stages, I reckon.

It doesnt happen often but you managed to change my opinion.

    Holland for the win today!!

EDIT: But hold on, we've never been faced with a group of death quite like this before either.

Many considered the world cup group with Serbia, Ivory Coast and Argentina a group of death.

Sorry, but not quite the same as:

    Germany
    Portugal
    France
    Holland

Mwah. Both France and Portugal struggled to qualify, and we've more individual quality than Germany I reckon. Besides, you typically only need the one win and one or two draws to get through.

If France aren't on top form then they're eminently beatable... I assure you ;)

    Portugal peaked in 2004.

I think you're right the French seem to either be specatacular or terrible, and i think it will be the latter.

All i know is I want more crack at portugal with Figo still in the squad, and pref. Bouhla as our CB and van Bommel as our #4 ( i know it will never happen under marco, but meh)

Figo retired from International play. He also suffered a broken ankle a couple of weeks ago when Inter played Juventus. Portugal's manager Big Phil is melting down, he was suspended for two or three matches for hitting an oposing team's player. In addition, it's a very young team, though they do have Christiano Ronaldo.

I do a "Portugal" search, and find a Dutch topic. Interesting.

Oh, I would love to get the Netherlands again. Otherwise it would be a rather boring World Cup.

But England is still my favourite team to face, with all the history we have and I can only hope we get to face them once again.

BUT, we have to actually qualify first…

Yea I like those. Are those the new alternates for the euros? By the way, why does Netherlands need alternate kits anyway lol ?? who else plays in orange besides Cote d'Ivoire? I love my Van Persie Oranje kit, you can see me coming from miles away ;)

it's a nothing match, so i didn't expect much, though i'm sure the cold & the fog are not helping. hopefully Babel will be subbed as he's trying to be clever and it's not working at all. Koevermans & Demy have been invisible too.
