The poll at the top of the screen has incorrect grammar. The guy that does the radio broadcast on 790 does the same thing and it really annoys me to have to listen to it. "The Dynamo wins" is incorrect. The Dynamo win is correct. Dynamo is a plural word for the team, just because there isn't an s on the end doesn't mean its singular. Sorry to be grammar police, but your help in spreading this so I don't have to hear things like "Dynamo wins" or the "Dynamo is" on the radio anymore would be appreciated.

The Dynamo is a plural term for the team, just like the Texans, Rockets, or Astros. You wouldn't say the Rockets wins or the Texans wins, you'd say the Rockets win. If you were referring to one specific Dynamo then you could say wins.

 

It is a collective noun, which in the US (in lieu of the British form) is often treated as singular. So, it is perfectly fine to say "Dynamo is" and "Dynamo wins"

 

Regardless, don't waste moderators' time with silly reporting of posts because you disagree with someone's grammar correction.

What? Have they released the game facts already?

 

He felt "something" pop in his calf last game. Has been listed as "maybe" but I think they are going to make a Sunday morning decision. I doubt he starts, he may be on the bench.

 

I wouldn´t count on it, a few months ago they started blocking the transmission for users outside of the U.S., since I haven´t been out of the country since I have no idea if they are still blocking the transmission, but I would think they are still doing it since it was something done by every radio station that has some kind of affiliation with Fox Sports Radio.
