--The Blast finally got custom jerseys...that look like the same off the rack garbage they've been "sporting" the last 15 years. They have a faint dark ball logo on the fronts that makes it look like an image from a t-shirt underneath that's bleeding through a sweaty jersey. The names and lettering are a nice upgrade though.

--The Kixx were wearing the same poor looking white jerseys with white shorts. The Blast were wearing red jerseys and red shorts.

--Even if they can't be bothered to come up with a two color uniform in this league (not counting the ubiquitous white and black) they could at least maybe wear dark shorts with light jerseys and vice versa.

--Finally, why aren't all of the teams wearing Puma? Why are the owners so short-sighted? The Blast and Kixx, respectively, switched from Adidas and Joma to two companies I never heard of. For what? To save $500? I spent like $2,500 to outfit four teams for my Cleveland event and got all the uniforms named and numbered as well.

Wouldn't it benefit the league and its relationship with Puma to have all the teams included in the deal?

i am very glad i picked up my replica jersey a few years ago. I might pick up one of the few old ones the blast merchandise vendors have left just in case mine gets torn or something. these new jerseys look like they're made of the same material as walmart halloween costumes. and yeah i really thought that faint blast logo on the front was a t-shirt showing through.

The KiXX had Jako originally, I thought they would stick with that. I actually like our white uniforms compared to the past two years. Our black ones I'll have to see about though.

I believe Baltimore is outfitted by Legea. An Italian company who outfits a decent amount of teams throughout Italy and Europe. Here's the list of the clubs they sponsor.

    http://www.legea.com/html/?action=sponsor&id=6&idLin=1

    And the company's website.

    http://www.legea.com/flash.htm (Italy)
    http://legeaus.com/ (USA)

Guess Syd's never heard of them but while they're no Nike or Adidas, they're not THAT unknown.

As for the Kixx they're going with MASS, who like Syd, I have never heard of. They may really be a local outfitter.

The uni's are a bit different, but they aren't that bad. I really like the fact that both teams were supporting decent warm ups as well. makes the MISL a bit more professional.

At least the Kixx white jersey doesn't look like a T-Shirt this year. They looked very amatuerish last year.

I 100% agree. These are a VAST improvement. You can argue that they may be a bit dull, but last year's were Hanes w/ a logo slapped on 'em.

Just out of curiosity, Syd, did they do anything about the first 1,977 pleas?

Do you think this one is the one that's going to get it done?

The white ones don't look bad (Kixx), I hadn't seen these. The black ones are awful, they look like something a tavern league would wear.

I doubt I really have any influence. One day I listed about 10 things that were outdated on the website and they were fixed later in the day.

Once in a while, five years after the fact, they sometimes get around to doing something I've been harping on, but it's probably just a coincidence.:)

Why are they wearing long sleeve or under armor? It's freakin hot in that arena just watching them play.

UnderArmor helps keep you cool. It's not like putting on a sweatshirt. It pulls the sweat off your body faster than if there was nothing on it cooling you body faster than it normally would.

The black ones are in the profile pictures on the site. I didn't think they were to wonderful when I saw them. I liked last years home jerseys alot better.

I agree. The uniforms are on the site and they have been shown in some promo stuff. There was a huge ad in one of the local papers a week or two ago. There have a been a few news stories too. One news article that came out talked about Coach D'ambra opening a new indoor facility. It lists him as the coach for the Kixx, but does not mention him playing for the "Kicks". It mentions him playing for the Wave though which I thought was strange. http://www.nj.com/news/gloucester/local/index.ssf?/base/news-7/11922612468250.xml&coll=8

I think they're bad, but better than last year's. But mainly it's because I think the KiXX have a terrible logo and colors.

It looks like the Blast has a warmup jersey that's far better than the real ones. They're red and gray.

I have to say its good their bringing a facility back there, thats really close to where i'm from & the closest indoor soccer facility was where the kixx practice 25 minutes away in PA. But that is strange they mention him playing for us, just the wave.

I think the Blast uniforms say "Fana". Is that part of Legea?

Even though they strayed for teh traditional red home kit, i have to say the new white jerseys and black shorts the blast were sporting tonight looked really good. I'd almost buy one at this rate! Unfortunately I blew $75 buying one of the last jerseys from 2005-2007 i saw hanging up in at one of the vendors

I don't know anything about "traditional home red" since you're supposed to wear white at home.

But for one night, the home team wore white. And the Blast even wore black shorts instead of the usual white shirts/white shorts/white socks or red/red/red fashion faux pas.

I thought it was the option of the home team as to which color they wear at home.

I remember for the Pittsburgh Spirit's last season when they played a division rival for the second time they wore their black kit so fans could see the opponents other kit. Personally I preferred the Spirit in their gold, yellow to the rest of the country, as their home kit.
