No. We've got a diverse group of fans. We just like singing in Spanish a lot.

Would you say most of the supporters groups are hispanic? Do the no hispanic's sing?

I understand America is multi cultural but most outside the US don't view the MLS as a success because it always seems the mexican/hispanic fans dominate the support. Is this correct?

yes the "no hispanics" sing. both groups sing in both languages together.

my spanish has gotten so much better since my passion for la naranja was founded.

oh and why would it be a bad thing for the hispanic support to dominate, have you seen a globe? if support varys regionally why would you expect us to look like you?

It's not correct (Legion, EB and LN are 3 established groups where it's true) however if it was I don't see what problem would be. It's certainly better than when league is dominated by foreign players causing national team to weaken to the point of missing Euro 08 :D

and to keep this on topic this has few short clips of Barra :p

Most of the songs are in Spanish (with the exception of one or two), most of the chants are in English (with the exception of one) which makes sense really. Everyone sings in Spanish and English as they learn the songs. There are many people who are 0% Hispanic (myself included) who can sing nearly every Spanish song...even the longer ones.

Sadly, I have nothing to keep this on topic at the moment. That should change Monday or Tuesday when I return from DC.

MLS isn't a success because we have a lot of Hispanic supporters? Wow. You do realize that the largest minority group in the US are Hispanic/latinos, right? 40+ million people.

    Cultural prejudice/racism is really lame.

I think I've seen you ask similar questions and I think it's been explained to you before ... In America we consider hispanics Americans too, especially in places like Texas and California ... Well maybe not all of us, after all there are racists and bigots everywhere ... but still.

The fact that some supporter groups sing some songs in Spanish doesn't make them any less or more American ... I don't think we have any supporter groups in MLS that are necessarily just one race, religion or nationality which is actually synonomous with what America supposedly stands for.

Would you say most supporter groups of England are Danish? Do the Danes sing?

I understand that England was once overrun by drunken, horny Vikings who would chose to spread their seed there despite the nation being stocked mostly with mis-shapen Saxon hags. But most outside England don't view the country as a success because it always seems their league football is dominated by foreigners and their "national" team might as well be sponsored by "Underachieving Poofs, PLC"

    Is this correct?

Enough with the chit chat. Take your race baiting, debate, enquiry and such to some other thread.

This is section 217. If there was one section outside of our Hinchada where drunks get seated at it is in the East end's 217.

This clip doesn't surprise me. A bust up in that area was only a matter of time.
