I wonder how many people realize that the days of "easy tickets" to MLS games are nearing an end. Toronto has already sold out its 2008 season tickets (16,000) and Seattle has sold over 3,000 tickets - more than a year before playing a game in 2009. Seeing a CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL like MLS CUP will soon be a premium ticket ... if nothing else, its the best Championship for the price. Not to menation that any single player here could be starring in the next World Cup by 2010. Where do others sports player go after their "final" ? Baseball, Football, Basketball or Hockey FINALS tickets cost in the hundreds of dollars range ... and not nearly the excitement. LOVE IT ... LIVE IT ! PLAY IT ... KICK IT ! My Wife and I are going. So add a +2 I'm a DC fan that got two tickets for my birthday, last week. This will be our first MLS CUP, though I did get to go to the All-Star game in Denver this year. We are very excited and really looking forward to the match! Go Revs!
I'm at the airport waiting for a delayed flight to Washington. A friend's putting me up for the weekend and, in return, I got him a ticket for the game. Its up in the cheap seats, but it will be my first live MLS match.
I wish I will be there in spirit.... Have a NEOTHSL championship match that kicks off at noon on Sunday. Fortuantely for WEEI 850 AM and Tivo, I can listen and watch after the fact. Go REV's! Bring home the hardware!
