Being back as a fan for the last 4 years, the thing I am noticing more and more every year is that the goalkeeping in this league overall is very bland and not very good. Think about most of the saves you see in this league , the saves are made when the shot is taken right at them, you very rarely see a diving save. Alot of the goal seem to catch the keepers off guard and they never move off the line. It seems like if you shoot low at the corners you can put it in almost every time.
There was a game in December of 2004 in Chicago where Sagu never moved on any shotsand was trying to stop every shot with his feet.

IAM a big fan of Sanaldo now with California.

I know he runs a soccer camp, as I a goalkeeper have
    attended in the past.

Does anyone have any contact info on him, email?
I think he is the best keeper in the MISL

By no means am I a fan of Sagu. I feel his temperment is awful, and I do feel he allows an enormous amount of long range goals (which is a killer now with three pointers). However, I'm sure you could find a more contemporary example.

I remember in the 2005/2006 playoffs when Sonaldo started in place of injured sagu, i really thought he was going to earn his place in the team the following year. he is an excellent keeper. sagu is pretty steady, but he is also cocky for someone who probably owes most of his stats to his good defenders.

Sanaldo has been fantastic out here in California and far superior to any other keeper we have had out here. He is also very nice and humble and takes time to sign autographs for the kids. My son got Sanaldo's autograph Saturday night. I'm really amazed Detroit let Sanaldo go, but I'm really happy they did.

Here is the link to Sanaldo's camps and his contact information.

Before the Comets folded, my son's team was coached by Sanaldo and my son was the keeper and he enjoyed being instructed by him. He held a camp in KC this summer and it was very instruction. He is a great guy.

Through the years I have seen many different keepers with many different styles. I don't think that it is fair to judge a keeper by how often he dives. Of all the keepers I've seen play, Victor Nogeura was the best keeper and I only saw him dive a couple of times. His game was based on positioning and angles. I think the best keeper in the league now is Pappas and he does tend to dive a good amount of times. I don't particularly rate Senaldo but I do like the way Sagu plays. There definitely isn't a lot of quality throught the league at the goalkeeper position. When I think of the keepers from 7-8 years ago, Victor,Orf,Pappas,Finerty,Phillips,Heileman,Petras. The current keepers are not at these guys levels. It is still very entertaining to watch Pappas play. He carries the Kixx every game.
