Last night, Blanco (Chicago Fire) ran over to the DC United supporter's section and started taunting them in a totally repulsive and classless way.

He started to simulate f*cking someone, all the while staring gleefully at the United fans.

Does MLS impose any constraints on inciting the fans like the EPL does? If so, Blanco, and the rest of the Fire players that were giving the finger to DC United fans should be fined, forced to sit some games, and required to apologize.

If this type of behavior continues, a fan or player might go over the line and hurt somebody!

I saw lots of DC fans giving fingers and throwing beer no blanco bonin' though. I also liked how they went to a shot in the stands right after the game was done and you could see this kid scream "This is bullshit!" it was so clear, haha. seriously though there was like 10 times they showed DC fans flippin the bird

So Blanco took the time to taunt the opposing fans after getting yelled at and insulted by those same fans all game long, creating stadium wide boing when he touched the ball and having items thrown at him by said fans.

    Fantastic news!

It seems he's taking his team, this league and its often criticized playoff system just as seriously as he took playing in the Super Clasico and the FMF playoffs. MLS HQ is full of high-fives in the break room today.

DC will be back, their fans will be back, their supporters will back and they all will want a piece of this "repulsive" actor. Hopefully other teams and cities will follow suit and help grow the passion for this league.

 The thought of Blanco even simulating a sex act is repulsive in itself. Excuse me.....I just ate lunch, and may have to hurl.

    Re: Esky - Totally Classless

Thats funny, I don't remember DC United fans crying about Eskandarian when he took a chug of Red Bull and spit it out. Of course everyone found it funny, and it would have been, except for the fact that just 7 days prior the Red Bull organization honored his father in front of 35 thousand people. Now thats classless.

I also loved how Barret celebrated the goal buy telling the Barra Brava to shut up, that was great.

As crazy as it may sound, things like that will help the game. Its showing that the players and fans are extremely passionate about their teams. As long as no one is physically hurt let it happen.

Passion is good. Isn't that what we want? Players and fans alike with tons of emotion makes for a much better league.

I will agree somewhat with the Blanco statement. I was excited to see Fred step on him a bit. He was already down crying on the ground when Fred really gave him something to cry about. I hate that bastard and was excited to hear wynalda call him a baby that wanted his bottle. If he just used his skill and wasn't such a little pussi he would likeable.

If he had just tapped his chest with both hands or kissed all his knuckles, it would have been spitting image of Landycakes. :D

It's hard to be surprised by Blanco acting like a complete and utter tool at this point.

What got to me was Calen Carr on the pitch crying like a little girl at the start of the second half with an "injury," then miraculously getting up once the ref told him to. I guess it's contagious.

Seriously?? Fans can say and do whatever they want all game long but if a player after moving on to the next round gives them a taste of their own medicine and something is wrong with that then I dont want to watch anymore. I am not saying I like Blanco everyone he dives almost as much as Ruiz but I am glad he did what he did so now we have something to look forward to and talk about now.

    Fixed your thread title:

    Blanco - Totally Neckless

    - Anyway, props to the Fire, that was a good game. Also, even though I've never been a Blanco fan, I have to say he was a good purchase for MLS.

I'm a DC fan and I can't get all twisted up even if he did what you said he did. I mean, DCU fans were giving the Fire players crap at the end of the game, so we can't cry if they give some of it back. In fact, I think that would be kind of funny.

Well, you got the bonus plan because he normally does his doggy taking a wiz thing:rolleyes:
I'm not a Blanco fan but he has played well for the Fire, he does play to win games and doesn't mind rubbing it in your face.

it's amazing how Blanco has everyone in a twitter.

mad props to Cuahtemoc: he's single-handedly changed the entire fortunes of the Chicago Fire organization, and he's doing it his way, gettin' under the goat of every opposition coach, player and fan the way only the great ones can.

Blanco is a man truly living up to his reputation...except for the part where he throws tantrums at the media or teammates or whoever and gets in fights with water boys. so far he's left that part of the act on the other side of the Rio Grande.

watching MLS playoffs on ESPN2 - 1/100th of the price of the cable bill
buying a Blanco voodoo doll to stick pins in: $2.99
watching Cuahtemoc Blanco help himself to a healthy serving of MLS for not only dinner, but dessert?: priceless

and i'm not even a Blanco fan!!

I guess you missed Fred pretending that Robinson jacked him in the eye, then lifting up his jersey and his 'Jesus loves you' shirt to show the ref where he supposedly got stomped on, but didn't

This "petermoran" guy seems a little suspect. I've yet to see anyone collaborate this story (did anyone else see Blanco do this?) and he was trying to instigate stuff in the Fire forum earlier....just saying.

As for Blanco, you hate him if he isn't on your team but come to love him when he is. I do think he play acts way too much and needs a card or two at some point for it (hopefully not until next year) but overall he is a quality, skillfull #10 that this league needs and so far a great guy in the Fire clubhouse. I for one couldn't stand the guy when he played for Mexico but I sure do appreciate him now. Reminds me of how Dennis Rodman was public enemy #1 in Chicago when he was with the Pistons but a fan favorite when he came to the Bulls.

This happened at the end of the game, all the fire players went to the side of the field to celebrate with their fans that traveled. When they got to that side the bottles and beer and other sheet started flying at him and the rest of the chicago players, Blanco turned around towards them and put both hands forward and started humping the air. :D Yeah Blanco is the classless asshole, not the DC peoples throwing sheet at him and the rest of chicago walking to greet their fans.

I cant stand Blanco but I love this. This is what MLS needs. Passion. Venom between opposing fans and players. Atmosphere. Nobody wants a country club type air in the stadium where everyone golf claps politely. This is soccer, not tennis.

I have a request to make.

Will someone with the skills please please please make a small looping animation of blanco throwing his arms about in a fit while he was on the floor after not getting the call? It was when Wynaldo laughed and said he looked like he was a baby (I had to laugh and thought the same exact thing).

I would have the biggest smile on my face if someone did this... or youtubed the event.

great game last night. I hate Blanco when he wears the Mexico jersey, but i like him in MLS.
