Aww...my eyes are welling up! Congrats and good luck with everything to come! And...whenever the scarves get here, you'll never forget your anniversary date...
Late to chime in, but I know you aren't reading big soccer on your honeymoon. (Right??) Way to go! May your love be always new!
HAHAHA! Well I am not THAT cool/smart... I am currently sitting in London's creepiest cyber cafe (In the basement of a tourist shop... I think there is actually a terrorist next to me ) but hey it was only £1 and even Adele can take only so much of me Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts. As goofy and overly idealistic as it may seem sometimes I DO think of the Barra as my own disfunctional family and appreciate this all. I know I have a great gal here as only Srdan bothered to make fun of me... --OK... Now back to the honeymooning. When we arent doing all the love stuff I wish you ALL could be here with me. The thought of our crew in London's pubs just gets me giggling. its an amazing place and with the Brits love of the drink I have no doubt we wouldnt win a ton of new recruits! Normandy was awesome as well. I never it made it to the Caen football match but have a feeling those French farmers can really throw down. Anyone heard of Calvados? Apple brandy... I may will try to bring some back if you guys can carry those fcking Fire bastards on Thursday. Miss you all. PLEASE FCKING WIN this week. I have faith in United and they can't let us down. Cheeri-"O" p.s. If you are reading this Plymouth Dave... Feel free to stop by and visit Adele and I at the Paddington Hotel before Saturday!!! Ha!
Normally I'd make fun of you for posting on BigSoccer from your honeymoon, but I can't, since you were lucky enough to find a woman who accepts the other love of your life. Congratulations and thanks for the update. Hopefully the team can hang in there so you can celebrate with everyone here as United marches to the final.
Congratulations yall!! I used to stay in Paddington when I was stationed over there, still as seedy as I remember it? The list of suggested diversions could be miles long. Do try to get out to the Tudor village of Lavenham, over near Ipswich. Great pub in the basement of the Swan Hotel, tons of WW2 history there. Again, our best wishes!! Mark and Courtney
OK fck it... I admit honeymoon or not I wish I was at tonight's game. Dear God, If you have a sense of soccer humor, please let United win tonight. I will take a penalty or ugly win. Just get us through till the next round. Best of luck to all, Owen p.s. I REALLY sympathize with Plymouth Dave now... The 6hrs difference really takes the fun out of following alomg with MLS. I wanted to try to catch the game somehow but realized at 12midnight you guys would just be inthe middle of a great tailgate and at least an house before game time!
